As a lifelong vinyl hound who never gave up the wax even back in that day, I was pretty cheesed off not to be able to obtain my own copy of the limited triple vinyl on this one back when it came out. And Good luck trying to find one on Ebay that doesn't command at least $125 a pop!. I just hope that some awesome Company like Because Sound Matters will trot out a PIMPING deluxe 180-gram Reissue someday, So that those like me who missed out on the original press can finally have this on vinyl!

It certanly was, it was some of the greatest groups ever, and this certanly was the best of their album, they marked our X generation. I heard them as a teenager back then. I didnt know there were LP´s from them, lucky you!

That's alot. I have two copies of this on vinyl. One signed by the band. I got them in early 1996, both for $50 at the time. I've seen them on ebay for alot of money these days and am glad I got them back then.

I agree but I would go further than saying it is the best album of the nineties. I think it is the best album of ALL TIME. A true piece of musical magic. There has been no greater music written before or since.

I live this record and have two copies on vinyl. Got them back in 1996. I agree that music went way downhill after about 1997 and took almost a decade to recover with a few exceptions. Only in about the last 3 years has good stuff been coming out.

If you are talking about new good music I think there is plenty of good stuff out there today. I think there has been some good stuff in the last 10 years now if I really think about it. But, you have to admit that music went downhill after, OK, maybe 1998 or 1999 and took a while to get to where it is today. I mean, even the Smashing Pumpkins went downhill now days (Billy no!) though I MCIS still ranks in my book as one of the greatest albums of all time and is always in my MP3 player or iPod.
