Also as a musician I know that if what I play is in a different key then the singer WILL have trouble especially in the higher notes cuz it's not in their range so that could've been part of it.

I hate how they didn't have her sing in her natural key for "Say a Little Prayer". I mean honestly, she's a good singer, but it wasn't her natural range for that or "You Keep Me Hangin' On". When Dianna sang "I Feel Pretty/Unpretty" and "Papa Don't Preach", they sounded fantastic because it's where her range is, you know?
