Regarding the training of others, I was greatly blessed in the 1970s when Andre and the Disciples came to Australia and did 2 things. One , they held their brilliant concerts and blessed everybody. Two they held seminars to help train and inspire young musicians. I know that as I was at the seminar. I still remember a large bug coming up near Sandra and her saying "I don't like bugs." Those concerts and the inspiration of that seminar will be with me forever. It helped many Christian musos.

yes but being intentional about replicating what has been given to you brings greater use of the gift than just holding it for yourself. He is not known for mentoring younger musicians and he should have.

WOW! Andrea is my favorite song WRITER (not just a hook...but a complete SONG) ever! His gift is ABSOLUTELY from GOD...to man. The songs he penned will be sung until Jesus comes (and maybe afterwards). Many of them are already in the hymnals...who ELSE can we say that about...Tye? Kirk? Mary Mary? Donnie? NOPE. Unless they change...their songs won't last. This guy IS the greatest.
