  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!! i went to a crochet club, but everyone was a righty and i couldnt learn. but this vid helped so much! thanks again!

  • Why, on double crochet, do you skip 3 before starting? What if you only skip 2?

  • I love your tutorials, they make learning crochet stitches so much easier! I tried looking at typed directions, and they just never made sense, especially since they were usually written for right-handed crocheters. Your videos are so clear, though! Thanks so much!

  • @rainbowcrayon37 You are welcome.

  • Yea Thank you for the Tutorials. Ive been wanting to learn how to Crochet for a long time now. I can use the Looms. But I want to Step Up. It'd be cool if you have How to Knit for Left Handed people also. My Dad does not believe me when I say its different for us.

  • These videos are exceptional!!!!! I never been able to learn to crochet until now. Because I am a lefty who had a bad experience trying to learn to crochet as a young girl, I have stayed away from the books and classes. In watching your video, you made it so simple. You show the method (pattern) and the practice. In one afternoon, I learn how to create a chain, make a single crochet, and make a double crochet. Thank you so much, Theresa. Please keep the good work.

  • thank you so much i have always want to crochet since i was 20's but couldnt do anything else but single rows!!!!! since i am lefty and no one in my family can try teach me with lefty i keep get so confuse when they do with right handed... now I found this THANK YOU SO MUCH THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! i subscribed to your site on you tube!!!

  • :D I got it! :DDI got confused about how you (and everyone else, since everyone says it the same way) explained something, but when I watched closely and realized what you meant, I got it :)

  • @maggieofHawaii Glad you got it.

  • I'm coming back with hook and yarn to watch and crochet. Thanks! I'm good at craft, but crochet is one thing I've never been able to do because I'm left-handed and my sister, an expert, is right-handed.

  • AWESOME.......I had an issue with doubling back, but now that I've watched your video I think it will be so much easier!!!!

  • This tutorials are awesome! I've been wanting to learn how to crochet for a while... I've look for books but nothing nearly as good as this...

    Thank you Teresa!!.

  • @Negrita2780 You are welcome! :)

  • Thank you so much. This honestly means a lot to me.

  • This video helped me a lot! Finally I can learn how to do this! :D

  • @PaperMoon2010 Thank you.

  • Thanks! Finally I learned to crochet. Excellent tutorial. For left-handed, use the books is very difficult. The idea of slow motion is excellent. Thank you very much.

  • @lanegra206 You are welcome. :)

  • These videos are by far the best watched!! =]

    Lefties rule!

  • Thank you.

  • cool you can crochet with you're left hand!! i'm can tell my aunt abou his channel!

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to post these videos!!! They certainly don't go unappreciated... I just crochet for the first time in my life and I made a flower!!! Thank you so much!!!

  • You are welcome.

  • Thanks to you I can single crochet and now I'm onto double crochet. The books were confusing and incomplete. Thank you for being here for us lefties.

  • You are welcome.

  • I also had trouble with the books. so much so that i returned it to the store and bought more yarn... your whole leftie section is fantastic. thank you for taking the time to show us how to do it.

  • You are welcome, I appreciate the comments.

  • Fantastic tutorial! On behalf of all frustrated lefties that want to learn how to crochet, thank you so much. I always felt like the pictures in books confused me more than they helped me. My Grandma was able to teach me a chain stitch and how to continue with a single stitch, but that's as far as I ever got.

  • I appreciate the comment, thank you.

  • I love learning this and you are the best! Thanks again!

  • You have absolutely the most helpful videos. Wonderful instructions and demo. People try to teach me left handed but right handed folks have never been able to get through to this lefty!!

  • Thank you for the comment. Happy crocheting.

  • Thank you so much for your videos!! My mother taught me how to crochet when I was a preteen, but it was difficult to learn b/c she was right-handed; I was never certain whether or not I wrapped the yarn correctly. And the way you use slow motion is so wonderful and thoughtful. Thank you again!

  • You are welcome. I appreciate the comment.

  • THANK YOU!!! No one could show me how to crochet because I'm a lefty....I'm going to make a super long scarf now! lol Thanks again :)

  • You are welcome. :)

  • thanks a lot! :) but my work is sorta curved at the first chain row. :( is it cuz im doing it so loosely and then doing the rest normal?

  • You chain is most likely tighter than the rest of your work which will make it curve. If you are new to crochet, it will take some time and practice to get a consistent tension with all of your stitches.

  • I, too, would like to thank you on behalf of the three 'lefties' in my class of 9-10 year olds. I am trying to teach them to crochet and found it difficult to crochet left handed, so these vids are amazingly helpful.

  • Thank you very much. Happy crocheting.

  • I would like to thank you for the wonderful video. I am a righty when it comes to crocheting and my daughter is a lefty. I was pulling my hair out trying to show her how to do things lefty when I was doing them righty..... Needless to say your video was a life saver. Thanks a ton for you wonderful videos.

  • It is great that your daughter si learning crochet. I appreciate the comment, Thank you. Happy Crocheting.

  • thanks for the video, I've been crocheting basic left since I was about 7... so, 16 years? Anyways, I got back into it full force at the beginning of last year, and my grandmother taught me everything. She told me to practice more because I wanted to start doing some blankets and she said she would teach me more soon... but then she passed away in May and I wasn't able to learn anymore-- we're both lefty's. This was very helpful, thank you!! :)

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Thank you for the helpful video. I am a self taught lefty, have been crocheting for just a few years. Through your video I found I was doing my double crochet incorrectly- sorta a double and half. I would pull the yarn over through 1 loop, then 2 and 2.

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Thank you for your HELPFUL videos!! It is hard to find any left handed videos out there!! I have a question for you. I am attempting to make a "wrap". I do not know how to read a pattern, so I am kinda "winging it"..made my foundation chain and then started working on my double crochet stitch, my work begins to curl and look like a ruffle...what am I doing wrong?

  • You are welcome. :) If your work is starting to ruffle, that would make me think that you are putting to many stitches in one chain or your tension is to loose. When I was first learning, my chain was tight and my stitches were very loose. With practice, you will learn how to control your tension.

  • you're the greatest. Thank you so much for having these videos. I have learned so much form your video libary. Please keep adding more.

    :-)

  • Thank you. :)
