by far the best wonder boy player i have seen.. i actually thought i was the best as ive been up to where he has but we had different techniques for different stages.. ive never seen anyone else get near that and i asked around for years and noone would believe me that there was more monsters after the 7th.. congrats man on a great play... i will by the game 1 day and have to challenge it hahahahaa...
As far as I remember from my arcade days there's an impossible jump in stage 7.3 I think it is (maybe 7.2) - to my best of knowledge you can't get get by that.
First you have to be sure to jump on a cloud that has a lower one on top of it (it alternates back and forth.) Then, press jump again BEFORE you land to get vertically to the higher one (then again to the one on top.)
I was playing this on MAME the last couple days and took me forever to figure that out.
