Best solution= Wear sneakers with rubber soles and glide your way everywhere! Much easier and lots of fun. Just be sure you're agile enough to balance while sliding. Perfect for the rain and long metal grade vent covers as well. While I was with my friends, I unexpectedly ran and slid on one while it was raining one night and the looks on their faces was priceless.
