dude I have to get one of those flangers. toadworks is my new favorite pedal company. I have a texas flood and their compressor, which is every bit as good as a expensive ass keeley.
hey man, im from colombia latinamerica, do you have books to explain the legato like you?????????????? awesome man, i want to learn the legato like you, teachme!!!!!
I hear alot of people recommend that the amp get mic'd and then sent to effects. Something about the amp just deals with raw pickup signal, and the effects units hear the finished product, pristine guitar>clean preamp>power tubes and base their reverbs and delays upon that strict input diet.
If I put my Eventide (supposed to be an awesome unit) infront of an amp, then the tubes are dealing with all that shit = worse off.
After an amp, then amp is happier, effect is better.
Man, this guy needs more recognition, he has one of the most beautiful phrasing and tone(good musicians make good tone, good equipments just helps) I've ever heard.
you're like the love child of guthrie and greg howe ha, and the legato an 3.15 is pure sex man, awesome... would you upload a lesson on how you get your legato so clean?? even howe uses a hair thing like, dunno how you do that...
@Niallphillips - sorry, this guy doesn't upload lessons. 67 amazing videos (yeah, i've watch all of them), and I believe there's only 1 demonstration of anything he does. It's actually kind of frustrating, way to much of "look at me" and not nearly enough of "here's how it's done".
@Old7StringGuy I guess you can get lessons of what he does on his website ! one can play beautiful music without calling him a "look at me" ! it might be frustrating, another solution is trying to figure out what he does by ear, or by looking closely at the video ...
@Old7StringGuy Join infinite guitar or lick library if you want his lessons because he teaches PLENTY of videos. He's a professional and is in it to make a living.
interesting tone for the last half of it. i really enjoy the little extra bite your getting. BTW you should deffinitly do some more tuition with lick library i have your hybrid picking lesson but its not enough I NEED MORE lol. they dont do too much fusion stuff on lick library so i happy to download it
I can say that this is superb amp only just by fact that Port City guys know what immense impact on sound make high quality power cord!

What radius fretboard is that guitar? You make it look like it's 16" or something crazy flat like that.
Thanks for another awesome demo. It's going straight on my mp3 player!
I'm also hopefully putting down an order in the new year - maybe February. I'm buzzin'.
angrygoldfish 1 year ago
@angrygoldfish 'Tis indeed 16" I believe.

@angrygoldfish I think Tom did go for the 16" radius from talking to him about radii.
