thanks so much, was starting a shaker hat and had no clue to what a K1b was, to me I prob would have just knit into back of stitch and made a mess never thinking B meant below not into back ..u know it is so sweet of people to go through the trouble of posting these vids..you have no idea how grateful I am..might do this bee stitch cloth next ;)
This is the "only" k1b video suitable for a beginner because it's the only one that clearly explains that you need to see the 2 strands crossing - this is where EVERYONE gets confused (myself included) Thank you so so so so much! :D
I love this stitch. However, I can't figure out how to correct a mistake without dropping a stitch. How do I fix my error if I have knitted into the wrong stich below and I need to reverse that?
Trying to figure out this stitch from written directions has frustrated me for just about EVER. Thank you, thank you, thank you for so clearly explaining and demonstrating how easy it actually is. :*)
Great tutorial. I previously learned how to do this, but it was never explained that there would be two strands over the right needle when knitting into the stitch below, so I kept trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Thanks for including that important detail.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. That was so clear and helpful. The only other k1b video I found appeared to be wrong when I watched it, so this confirms my opinion. It makes much more sense. You've saved me a trip begging help at the yarn store.
I accidentally grabbed the stitch below when I was learning how to do the Make 1 increase. It's kind of funny finding out that your knitting mistakes are real techniques.
A perfect illustration of how to Knit 1 stitch below. Thanks so much. Now I need to try and do it.
