  • A perfect illustration of how to Knit 1 stitch below. Thanks so much. Now I need to try and do it.

  • thanks so much, was starting a shaker hat and had no clue to what a K1b was, to me I prob would have just knit into back of stitch and made a mess never thinking B meant below not into back ..u know it is so sweet of people to go through the trouble of posting these vids..you have no idea how grateful I am..might do this bee stitch cloth next ;)

  • This is the "only" k1b video suitable for a beginner because it's the only one that clearly explains that you need to see the 2 strands crossing - this is where EVERYONE gets confused (myself included) Thank you so so so so much! :D

  • I love this stitch. However, I can't figure out how to correct a mistake without dropping a stitch. How do I fix my error if I have knitted into the wrong stich below and I need to reverse that?

  • Trying to figure out this stitch from written directions has frustrated me for just about EVER. Thank you, thank you, thank you for so clearly explaining and demonstrating how easy it actually is. :*)

  • Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post this. Very clear demonstration and extremely helpful.

  • Great tutorial. I previously learned how to do this, but it was never explained that there would be two strands over the right needle when knitting into the stitch below, so I kept trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Thanks for including that important detail.

  • Thank you! This little clip was exactly what I needed to see.!

  • Thank you for this! I was completely mystified before I found your tutorial!

  • i mean clear image ^^

  • thank you it has been very helpfull, but I have a question, how do I continue the back or the work?is it like this or all purl?

  • @pontikokou: You knit the back - no purling :)

  • Finally...clear instructions on this stitch, thanks~

  • Thank you for a good visual of this stitch. I'm going to enjoy working it.

  • Thank you-what a clear explanation!

  • get a job

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you. That was so clear and helpful. The only other k1b video I found appeared to be wrong when I watched it, so this confirms my opinion. It makes much more sense. You've saved me a trip begging help at the yarn store.

  • Thank you - seeing it done makes the written instructions much clearer. I appreciate it. :)

  • i'm trying to learn more stitches and this was very helpful! thanks!

  • Thankyou for sharing :D

  • thank you so much this helped me alot!!!!

  • Thank you so much. I had been unable to find a visual example of knitting into the stitch below. You helped a great deal!

  • thank you!

  • Finally, a good visual on this stitch!

  • Thank you for showing this stitching clearly.

  • Nifty!

I accidentally grabbed the stitch below when I was learning how to do the Make 1 increase. It's kind of funny finding out that your knitting mistakes are real techniques.

  • what is this pattern called?

  • Thank You!!!!
