  • ok u have to have an age too as in like 8 or 4 ft 9 ins because think aubout an adult in one they may not be 4 ft 9 ins as a matter of fact i would need one but i am 13 and about 4 ft 9 ins i might be too small.

  • When I saw this PSA in Florida, I thought the height requirement for a normal seat was insane. I don't recall anyone I've seen under 4'9" sitting on a booster seat unless they were toddlers.

  • I'm a 4'8 pumpkin and I find this offensive.

  • I'm 24... have had my license for 8 years... and shop in adult clothing stores... and I'm 4' 9"!!!!!! this is absurd!

  • crap...im ten and my dad bought me a pink booster seat because of that commercial.............its comfy though.and my brother wouldnt sit in it because they fart.

  • NIGGERS

  • I am 4'11", 18 years old, and I drive....if I ever shrink or the law changes again, I don't care what anyone says, I am NOT driving in a booster seat.

  • ummm lol I should be in a booster seat

  • The laws of motion do not change because someone is 15, 18, or be it 46 years old.

Seat belts are made for medium-tall adults. Some seatbelts adjust in the front, but even with the adjusting you may find that you are still a little short.

  • If she's under 4'9, shes to young for you bro

  • I'm 4'9. And 19 does this mean I need to be in one?

  • This has BS written all over it.

  • Fuck the New World Order and the bureaucracy. These legislations passed by congress are against the constitution, and the State's should be able to have their rights promised by the Constitution.

  • @BillWilliamsonSr

Children do not a voice like adults and cannot make major decisions for themselves. That is why the government must protect them. If you refuse to buy a $20 backless booster for your child, then you are failing to protect your child. It's called neglect and neglect is a form of child abuse. Anyways, if your child gets into a car accident and gets paralyzed for not using their booster, and you cannot pay? Then taxpayers pay.

  • Well, at least this makes Rebecca Black's decision much easier.

  • Snooki would need to use a booster seat.

She's an adult. It's not fair!

  • u got be kidding...alot of kids will never 4 9 until adulthood.

  • This is so unfair...some people don't even reach 4.9 adullthood.

  • @DJTEVAdotCOM

Seatbelts are made for adults. (average-tall adults because some short adults cannot fit seatbelts correctly). It is not unfair because many children are children and are definitely not adults. If you say it's unfair, then it's unfair that babies have to ride in rear facing car seats and not in booster seats or not with using a seat belt alone. It's unfair that babies sleep too much. It's unfair... It's unfair... I think you caught my drift.

  • Snooki uses a car seat ?

    She's 4,9 right?

  • my friend (anonymous) is super short like 4'9

and she is15 does she need a carseat?

  • I'm giving this a thumbs up just cause I want to see adults use this for my own amusement!

  • Seriously? I know at least three adult females that are barely pushing 4'9" tall. My grandmother is one of them. Think we should stick all the vertically challenged adults in one too? Ridiculous.

  • Well thank god im 4'11!

  • Why is the magic number 4'9" ? Should it be when that child can fit into a the seatbelt

properly without the booster? I would image this would mean different heights for different cars.

  • this is the dumbest piece of shit I've ever seen on tv, and I think we all know how dumb shit can be on tv.

  • who ever made this commercial was smoking way too much crack or meth thumps up if you agree

  • ok or real..u gotta be fucking kidding me..4'9??? thats almost 5 foot what the fuck kind of crack were they smoking when they came up with that height?.. 2'9 maybe

  • haha I would laugh at some kid at like 13 years old still riding in a booster seat.

  • I guess midgets need a booster seat for the rest of their lives.

  • I'm 15 and I'm 4'10. To be honest I really don't think 'fun sized' people like me should be in car seat after 12.

  • Ok, these are kids they are referring to, not adults. get real people. It's all these people who are too cheap or are too embarrassed to actually care enough about their kids to put them in a booster seat until they are the appropriate size.

  • Bullshit. I know more adults under 4'9" than I do 13 year olds. Going to force them into booster seats?

  • I grew up not wearing a safety belt...i remember sitting on a milk crate in the back of a cargo van, or inside the rim of the spare tire...or hanging onto the handlebars of my dads Harley when he took me to school....And, I dont have one friend that was injured throughout grade school because they werent in a safety seat (late 70s and 80s) Being a father of 4 young ones, im not saying I dont believe in safety seats, but I do think someone is going overboard and bloating the statistics.

  • I'm glad I'm 5' 7". I'm 16.

  • That's how tall I am and I'm 22 years old.

  • im 14 and im 4'7 1/4(something like that)

  • I'm 25 and I'm 4'9". :) I laugh everytime I hear this commercial.

  • Google "SEATBELT SYNDROME" before dismissing life saving information.

  • this is bullshit, 9 and 10 year olds are around 4'9, THEY DO NOT NEED BOOSTER SEATS!!!!!!!

  • say that until your child dies or is harmed greatly by not being in a booster seat and you will regret feeling like that for the rest of your life, seriously!

  • My wife is 4'8". She's 46 years old. Does she need to be in a booster seat?

  • Thats exactly what i was thinking! I know plenty of ladies who are around 4'10" or so....

This 4' 9" thing seems just too extreme to me.

  • Some countries require booster use until 4'11" & 12 years old. Their kids are MUCH safer because of it.

  • I'm 5'4". I don't fit certain older vehicles correctly. I'm also a Child Passenger Safety Technician. So, yes, I've ridden in a booster before. Because I also grew up in my family owned patient care facility, knowing the crash survivors. I do what keeps me safe for the sake of my child who needs her mother to be the best I can be.

  • What im 4ft 5

  • Yes, you need booster seat.

  • Oki Ty i keep telling my dad but atm i have a cousion off the couch but dad says we we get one off ebay

  • I was 3'4" when I got out of my car seat in about 1996, when I was 3 years old. The law in TN for requiring a booster seat did not come into effect until July 1, 2004. Heck, I rode in the front seat of my mom's 1984 Lincoln Town Car when I had just graduated from my toddler seat.

It's amazing how child safety has evolved so much. I only hit 4'9" about 2003.

I don't think my future kids will be able to get into an adult safety belt at the age of 3.

  • since i', 4" 6' my friends think i need a booster seat therefore call me..

    Booster Seat

  • Dont worry i am 4 ft 6 nearly

  • actually they should be in a 5-point harness carseat.

  • this means that I should technically still be in a booster seet, and I'm 15

  • That might be true. For more information visit website: boosterseat with gov tld.

  • @safetyissues07 your kidding me if u actually think a 15 year old is going to sit in a booster seat.. if you think they should you must have something wrong with you mentally.

  • pretty ridiculous, huh?

  • @bilong92 I'm 24... have had my license for 8 years... and shop in adult clothing stores... and I'm 4' 9"!!!!!!

  • that commercial gets old when u see it every commercial break...

  • r u kidding???

i stopped using abooster seat when i was like 3'9!!!!
