try anti-feathering art papers, mainly used for inks. another thing is that these videos are sped up a fair bit, so u might just have to wait a bit before spraying on ur top coat of paint

WOW. One question: What type of paper do you use? I've tried a few gloss papers but I found that the undercoating didn't dry quick enough to smudge the top coating.

I think he use Gloss Spray paint instead of paper.
