Talented craftsmanship combined with creativity. This ‘rollercoaster’ may not be up to Alten Towers standards, but like I could build something like that in my garden!

All the more impressive, it seems to work, this guy manages to ensure the drop at the beginning of the ride builds up enough momentum to drive the buggy across the rest of the track. Ingenious! Makes me realise just how boring my garden really is.

I just watched another video in which someone made their backyard roller coaster with a T design as opposed to your box frames. Accepting that theirs has major flaws, but maybe it's something you'd want to try?

Supporting structure was central posts, with a flat tee section on top, and the rails attached directly on either side. They would have to go to an all-steel construction, and there would still be the issue of the earth being too soft of a base to prevent left-right structural leaning.

The supports are not the correct height at the hill after the drop. Starting at 1:00 you can see that after you clear the apex of the hill, the structure begins to bend under the weight. However, the rest of the roller coaster looks pretty stable. Great job! Few people understand how hard something like this can be to build correctly.
