Only saw them once in Eugene, OR. It was one of the greatest shows I've ever seen..... I think. I was very stoned.

why did they break up?

They were in a lot of debt to their record company - who weren't promoting them enough to generate sales of their brilliant last album 'Heroes to zeros'. Steve's new band is 'Black Affair' and 'King Biscuit Time', Rich is in 'The General and Duchess collins' and Robin and John formed a band with Gordon called 'The Aliens'.
