Valks are amazing, Great when they're on your side and a bitch when they're flying for the oposition. If you're used to Russes then yes, you'll miss the front armour 14 but as an Eldar and marine player i didn't mind.

They are CHEAP compared to most units that fast and the Vendetta build is particularly good for all purpose tank killing since it can usually get side armour shots using its spead if you have enough.

Finally you'll dominate objectives games by contesting.

But Marbo dosen't wear one because he sets himself apart from everyone and his life is singular, he forsakes all ties of comradship because he dosen't want to get attached to anything. Its why i think the story of him having nine brothers and them all dying is why he's so cold, he dosen't want to lose anyone else and has just sworn to keep fighting until he dies. Its also why he's useless and blank when he's not at war, he is war it is his purpose.

I like the Catachan the most because I also live in a thickly vegetated area populated with relatively deadly animals and consequently hardy people who dislike outsiders pushing them around. Very good tribute :)

Do these guys have any protective armor at all? I mean I seen only just plain sleeveless shirts and thats it... do they have female jungle fighters? I bet they look pretty hot... (and I mean tempature and looks)

well from what i know and what ive read in books these are how they look no flak jackets or carapcace armor theyll get torn up in the jungle there heavy and make noise and also harder to camo so they where sleavless jackets and so forth as for the females i think theres 2 but im not shure

They'll often wear a light flak vest, and occaisionally a helmet, but that's about it. And yes, there are female jungle fighters. Deathworlders are bred tough and there's little either sex can't do. I imagine they look a bit like Vasquez from ALIENS. *drool*

well after review i actually tak back what i said about the armageddon vid the music actually fits awesomely and the music on your imperial gaurd tribute was as good too others 5/5 for both but still this vid was pretty cool but for some reason the music doesnt sit well with me, in my opinion it just doesnt do to the awesomeness of the catachans but it is decent still 4/5 for me, srry if i offend but thats my opinion

i used to collect catachans ages ago, they were awesome, reminded me of the commando elite from small soldiers, theyre inbreds to according to the storyline though, hense wen u see alot of official drawings with em in (the black and white ones) they are hav similar faces and the same nose, i used to collect the old metal cadian to coz they reminded me of starship troopers, i dont like the new imperial guard toops, old imperial guard and catachans ftw! awesome i love the catachan. they are my second favorite. Cadian is the 1st one. I made my own regiment, but even though it is cadian i had them be somewhat great in forest combat (inspiration from the far superior Catachan jungle warfare.)

Camo (I just felt that they needed the camo to fit what i wanted, they have the jungle camouflage pattern), I also used the game Dawn of war to make their scheme, though Dawn of war is limited in customization. I'm just starting to make my own army though, after playing WH40k I just had to try to make my own as well.
