@chinasucksforever There seems to be a disconnect between what people brought over or allowed over are offered and what actually takes place. There may be a myth about what guest workers are really willing to do verses what they are extorted into doing once they are here. Believing this may also create the image that Americans who do not work in those conditions are lazy by comparison, when no one would sign on to work in these conditions.

If the system is broken, we send in a troubleshooter to find the root cause, we send a technician to fix it. We fix the root of the problem, not waste resouces on the symptoms. The H2 program is vital for businesses, but it comes with responsibilty to obey the laws of America. Punish enough employers and the problems clear up. Keep funding enforcement and fining employers. Good business practices, build a strong USA.

Ms. Bauer fails to realize that immigrant workers have the same legal protection as American workers and a lot more protection than illegal workers. If the immigrants were not granted H-2B visas many of them would come here illegally and have even less rights.
