I just had an incident with one craft that did this same exact thing in Tennessee. I have never seen anything in our skies that was so brilliantly lit. first it looked like a small star in shape and brightness then it flared to the brightness of a welder's arc in intensity and brightness, it slowed, went back to normal "star-like" brightness and then accelerated. It was moving from North to Southeast and it changed directions to that of more of a direct southern path. AMAZING to say the least..
