I know some about custom scenery (still learning), but had a question about the lighting. when you entered and exited the station, the coaster lights were off, but in the ride the lights were on. was this fancy editing, or did someone make that possible? if so, who?

It was fancy editing. I recorded it once in daytime and once at night and then blended the scenes when the ride left the station into the tunnel (from day to night) and then again at the end of the ride going from the last tunnel back into the station (night to day).

because i got a lightning set and i think it only works when it's night....

and even my Mac isn't fast enough to make a park run smooth at night.

Yes, it has to be night to get the lights to work. Anytime you run the park in night it will run a lot slower.

Wow thats really good. I was wondering. How do you make a water-ride that the customers can roam freely and not on a course? It wont let me put the Entrance or Exit.

I meant when you create a free-roaming water ride such as the Swan Boats or windsurfer. They do not need to be on a set course. But I figured it out thanks.

If you're talking about how it goes from light to dark when the boat enters the tunnel at 5:38 and when it goes from dark to light at 9:24, I filmed the very beginning and end of the ride in day mode and filmed the majority of the ride in night mode and then faded between them in Windows Movie Maker. It took a while to get it to look just right but I think it turned out great.
