  • for the second battle of ypres, did they have gas masks? i think they had only wet rags... im trying to write a journal entry...

  • sickmooocow yeah

  • ....and man's inhumanity to man continues to this very day.....

  • This, happens to be pretty kickass.

You should do more videos like this, and not trying to be wierd or anything but your voice is like perfect for these types of vids. Most people who do this kind of stuff have really annoying voices, or they dont know what they were doing. But as for you, you knew what you were doing. Good job. :)

  • i dont know much about chemistry and all that or ww1but this is great ill watch it every time i need inspiration

  • I was an NBC-NCO for the Army; biological and chemical warfare is nasty. If given the choice, I much rather die from a nuclear bomb.

  • Yoopree? In England we pronounce it like in france --> eep.

  • where did you find these videos? Just wondering, I found the same one you used in the beginning and we HAVE to have reputable sources and citing in MLA format for our history projects. If you could get back to me that be great!

  • Hey man can i download this video and cut out a part i need and upload to my channel?

  • from all history accounts the canadians held the line , using urine soaked rages they managed too fight back and halt the german advances on their postions and hold their ground, i heard no such thing of a retreat when i watched the world wide documentry on history channel?

  • I was in Ypres 1 week ago :)

  • @M1sterHamilton GOOD 4 U =)

  • Nice footage! Thx

  • Actually the most used gas and also the one that killed the most people in WW 1 was Phosgene not chlorine. it was nicknamed Yperit after the battle of Ypres. it was an upgrade over chlorine as it had no color and lacked the distinct smell of chlorine thus it was much more dangerous.

  • @Eternaldream00

thank you I was just about post the same thing lol

  • This video is AWESOME!!!! I'm gonna use part of it for a WWI parody thing I have too do for school is that alright with you? I'll post the link once it's up. :)

  • @imataco123

    Yeah no problem :)

  • While the use of gas was tragic, the gas masks looked pretty badass

  • Isn't it pronounced EEP?
