Well I would say I am a fan. Warrior was easily one of the most entertaining wrestlers back in the day. He brought allot of intensity and played his part very well.

His matches were shorter than his entrances,he had no wrestling ability whatsoever, couldn't sell, couldn't do a coherent promo to save his life and was an asshole to everyone... I sincerely doubt his legacy would've been nearly as big as hogan's who, while he was rather limited in the ring even at his prime (except in japan) could cut a promo, and was always loyal to Vince while he was there

I have to say he's got some nerve commenting on "what an ass" the Ultimate Warrior was on the "Self Destruction" people, because he completely no-sold the Pedigree and tried burying him, and yet HHH has done it since to so many wrestlers, Jericho and Billy Gunn to name but two. I respect his in-ring talents, and even his on-mic ability but history will judge him as being the bosses son and a completely prick backstage who did all he could, no matter how low, to get to that spot.
Whatever our joint (I hasten to point that out) views on Triple H being a biblically epic tosspot, I, begrudgingly, have to say as a heel he may never have given the best promo's but he could create good heat. His in ring technical ability isn't THE, but is quite high up the list of best in the company at this present time (although that's not saying much) so I respect him as far as that's concerned. But as a person and politicing his way up to the top, I dislike him intensely for that.

Well Joanie (chyna) has talked about that at length since leaving wrestling about how he had pull and a ton of it. He is a great wrestler. I have gone to wrestling school and have in ring experence and he is quite good but the other side of it yeah. Like you said the new DX thing I knew it was money and marketing. I still watch wwe but i am the fan that doesn't do the storyline i pick who i like and go from there. For instance i hate john cena and think edge is actually pretty okay.
The ultimate warrior admitted using steroid, but I'm certain many people in his profession did. In truth though, the ultimate warrior is mostly show. He has very little true restling ability, whihc is why the matches were scheduled to be so short. He had his signature finishing move, and that's really it. The rest is just basic closelines and a few drops. He was more of an Icon and ponyshow than a wreslers, but I must also admit that it was really fun back in those days :)

It's biased. Warrior dealt with a lot of wrestlers in the industry (ie - Undertaker), and yet their opinions weren't put in the video.
Not to say that some of the information in the DVD isn't true, but there is a clear intention with that DVD, and it isn't a factual intention.

uhh.. ultimate worry also wrestled on wcw.. he also had a huge fan base.. probably before your time which is why you probably didn't appreciate his presence but warrior had a huge fan base.. if he had stuck around instead of constantly leaving his legacy would have been as big as hogan's... warrior vs hogan is probably the best wrestly matches ever created.

Warrior was intense as hell, had charisma, but that's it.
His matches were shorter than his entrances,he had no wrestling ability whatsoever, couldn't sell, couldn't do a coherent promo to save his life and was an asshole to everyone... I sincerely doubt his legacy would've been nearly as big as hogan's who, while he was rather limited in the ring even at his prime (except in japan) could cut a promo, and was always loyal to Vince while he was there

I have to say he's got some nerve commenting on "what an ass" the Ultimate Warrior was on the "Self Destruction" people, because he completely no-sold the Pedigree and tried burying him, and yet HHH has done it since to so many wrestlers, Jericho and Billy Gunn to name but two. I respect his in-ring talents, and even his on-mic ability but history will judge him as being the bosses son and a completely prick backstage who did all he could, no matter how low, to get to that spot.

Whatever our joint (I hasten to point that out) views on Triple H being a biblically epic tosspot, I, begrudgingly, have to say as a heel he may never have given the best promo's but he could create good heat. His in ring technical ability isn't THE, but is quite high up the list of best in the company at this present time (although that's not saying much) so I respect him as far as that's concerned. But as a person and politicing his way up to the top, I dislike him intensely for that.

So true...bringing back DX was one of the worst ideas that could possibly arisen, it just didn't work and only the most childish of children found it anywhere near entertaining. But you're right, he had the pull to twist story lines in his favour so long as he "justified" it was for the good of the company.

Well Joanie (chyna) has talked about that at length since leaving wrestling about how he had pull and a ton of it. He is a great wrestler. I have gone to wrestling school and have in ring experence and he is quite good but the other side of it yeah. Like you said the new DX thing I knew it was money and marketing. I still watch wwe but i am the fan that doesn't do the storyline i pick who i like and go from there. For instance i hate john cena and think edge is actually pretty okay.

The ultimate warrior admitted using steroid, but I'm certain many people in his profession did. In truth though, the ultimate warrior is mostly show. He has very little true restling ability, whihc is why the matches were scheduled to be so short. He had his signature finishing move, and that's really it. The rest is just basic closelines and a few drops. He was more of an Icon and ponyshow than a wreslers, but I must also admit that it was really fun back in those days :)
