@livinnostalgia after changin the key assignments click the arrow in the left hand side of the fpc an hit save preset then just load the preset everytime you open it

when i change the key assignments then it works but when i save it and reload it the key assigments are changed (standard). for example i make C3 to C4 and save it, reload it and its the same as before(C3). whats my problem? can somebody help?

You have to record the sounds from the FPC to the playlist by hitting the record button.

Sorry peeps but I made this video when I had fl studio 6 xxl so I know the fpc is different I don't know why they changed it. :( but you still can route to a channel on the mixer

i've got the same problem as skittlesizzler. but i need to get to that pad tab with all the midi assignment boxes on the left. my fpc doesnt look like this. it doesnt have any of those three tabs up there. help?

Nevermind I just figured it out, looked in the FL help, lol. If anyone is wondering how, just select a pad, then click in the Output box on the top right, and drag it up to put it on a mixer fx channel.

I started using FPC recently and love it. I decided to check out some tutorials and found this vid. Now, I got 1 problem here. My FPC looks totally different. I don't have the "Pads", "Layer Properties", and "Mixer" tabs at the top.. wtf? I really want to set each pad to a different FX channel on the mixer but I can't because I don't have a mixer tab. I'm using FL Studio 8. When I go to file, new from template, I can get the pads to go on individual FX channels, but I cant do it manually.

ok somethings pissing me off, when i open up the fpc, everytime i try to use the drumset of the fpc, the fucking crash symbol sounds like a freaken ride symbol and its pissing me off

@rawrmeupdeuce - fl or the fpc? you wouldnt likely want to use fpc for loops. dnb isnt my thing, but generally the stock fl sounds are crap. battery is about the same but has much better drum sounds if you have the room for 12-15 gigs of samples

i have a very good question(i think). can you change the pad setting from one shot to note on. when i hit a pad it plays the whole sample unless its set to be cut by another pad. but i want it to play as i hold, and cut off when i release. Mpc style .does that make sense? any help would be appreciated..

add just follow the scale...abcdefg with all sharps(or flats)...when you do that, i mean start with the bottom left pad, and work your way up to the TOP LEFT..your FPC pad with be controlled by your key board note......(Z S X D C V G B H N J M , L . ) (INCLUDE THE COMMA AND PERIOD) keep in mind though, when you get to the next C you have to change the octave to 5..hope that helps

i will! open fpc. click the 'pad' on the bottom row, all the way to the left. when you click it, all the setting for the pad pop up in the screen. in the top right of the whole fpc screen you will see midi note and boxes, one is a letter(stands for the note)and a number(stands for the octave) . next to those are cut, by, and output. starting with THAT PAD. change the midi note to c4, then each pad next to it, change to c#4 snd d4 and d#4, then move to the NEXT ROW up

it's all on the piano roll so put the sample on which square u want......if u want Q for it....go to piano roll and look up C4 and see what square is c4......or go to my fpc tutorial

Yes it can if you have installed the drivers correctly and the preset for the MPD24 is on "Fruity Loops".
