I was lucky enough to meet Jim at Guitar Center in Covina, CA. He was there to promote the 25th anniversary Jubilee series amps. He was as friendly as anyone could ever have been. He signed photos for me, gave me two Marshall stack hat pins (I still have one, I gave the other one away to a friend) and, he flirted with my girlfriend, too! He even praised my guitar playing when I was trying out one of the new amps. I'll never forget that day as long as I live. God bless Jim Marshall.

and they say Yngwie is a dick???ahhhh........NO, I met him too many times from 87 till now, and EVERYTIME I saw him, we chatted, spoke about Marshalls, tubes and tone, and he was cool, NICE, and sincere ;)

i haven't heard many good things about yngwie over the years, but this was a very class thing to do. didn't seem to get such a huge pop from the crowd though. maybe it was just the recording.

I met Mr Jim Marshall twice before. He is a wonderful, very nice person. Very available. Short of very low wattage amps for recording without killing the neighbours, Marshall is the only amp for me...
