You must take into account that these are video clips taken for Brie. We make sure that Avery gets special nights out with us and LOTs of attention. She is our "bird that gets the worm"! (trust me) She is actually great for Brie and works with her too. I agree the video's look like Avery is ignored, but trust me when I say she is not. She gets far more attention than Brie. Thanks for your concern.
I really hate to put my two cents in there not knowing you all or your family, but I have to agree that you do seem to give Brie more attention than Avery, not that Im saying you love one more than the other but it seems everytime Avery tries to get your attention by acting silly or helping Brie shes corrected I hate to sound likea know it all but maybe involving Avery in Bries activities would be a good idea. I also noticed its always Brie Brie Brie and no Avery. This must be hard on her.
Uh, this is a video about autism. Avery does not have autism, hence she is not the star of this video. Also, children with autism demand TONS more attention than non-disabled children, so an equal balance is not only impossible but probably unnecessary.
Equal attention isnt neccesary? Im sorry, but I think it is~ Especially when it appears that Avery is craving it... It is great that It does seem your inclucing your other daughter, Im sorry I must have missed it~ I heard you give her a job, keeping count =) Im sorry to sound negative, I was just voicing my opinion~
Thanks for sharing your gorgeous girls with us, they are both so adorable and Brie has made leaps and bounds! You must be so proud!
i also really want to say I feel kinda sorry for her sister... having a sibling is wonderful but having an autistic sibling must be completely different..
LOL who needs money when you have a nice shiny gold egg??

Hang in there, it takes practices. I am doing the same thing in all kind of activities with my son dealing with his autistic sibling, too.
