I MUST HAVE WATCH THIS VIDEO, LIKE A SEVERAL TIME. SO MUCH LIKE THE WAY PROF FREDRICK HERZBERG STYLE OFPRESNTATION IN THE 70`s. THIS IS A VERY BIG TOPIC IN MANAGEMENT THEORY. THANX FOR THIS VIDEO,ITS REALLY HELPFUL........TOSNEL
Thank you very much , this the 2.2.5 chapter in my course in Industrial Psychology.
In my course in French: "HERZBERG: les facteurs d'ambiance et de motivation"; just after my courses about Mayo, Maslow and Argyris...By Herzberg himself it's better explained. Thanks. Very, very, very useful even though for a frenchy.

this guy obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. Skinner (1941) wrote "these things which are held to be motivators, i.e. recognition, advancement, doing a 'good job', are merely accidents of nature that are assumed to correlate with behavior. In truth, people are like rats running in a cage with no more motivation than to find the best food to eat."
Hertzberg... GOING IN

Most companies (especially small businesses) don't give a shit about ANY of this.
"You don't like it, leave" is usually the boss or owner's default setting...

Do you happen to have the full reference for Skinner's statement by any chance? I'd like to read more!
