well the fact is sunni books & practices prove that sunni give preference to hazrat ummer over the prophet (a.s.), the tarawih, was introduce by Hazrat ummer, the Azan was altered by him. Are you aware of your own beliefs about Taqqiyah (lie, deception) ? Check the link in my channel description about Taqqiyah according to AhlulSunnah and Shia. Besides the Taqqiyah of Fear, the Shia also believe in other types of Taqqiyah (lie, deception) used when there is not fear such as Mudaritiyah Taqqiyah. Shia is the only sect in the world which encourages its followers to LIE and spread their beliefs with LIES. What a disgrace.

@AbuMuslimKhorasani he says that lying is allowed, that 9/10 of the religion is based on lying, that the imams control the creation, that the imams are of a higher rank than the prophet. these are just some of the lies that he says, he is insulting the religion of isalm by saying all this because although we are Shia, we are still MUSLIMS, all of our ideas (be it Shia or Sunni or w/e) are very similar but we differ on certain things, hes making it seem like shias are a whole different religion.

Imam Khomeini said that all atoms of the Universe submit to 12th Imam. Shia also believe that Imams are higher than Prophets (as) of Allah. Ask any Shia scholar to confirm if you don't believe me. I can give you shia websites that mention this.

If you take the tiem to study it, you'll realize they are not so far from what your own Hadith books say. Look up the incident at Karbala in your hadith books. Sahih Bukhari: Narrated Jabir bin Samura: I heard Muhammad saying, "There will be twelve Muslim rulers." ..My father said, "All of them (those rulers) will be from Quraish"

Read: Peshawar Nights,Then I Was Guided, The Light Within Me, any of the books by Ayatullah Lari etc. Listen to speeches by famous Shia scholars online, not just the selected ones of strange stuff that bigoted people send you. If you are confident in your beliefs, you have nothing to fear in learning more,

I have read books on the beliefs of the shia and I think Yasir Qadhi is being too nice towards the shia in this video but in reality the beliefs of the shia are messed up. @adahbache Salam. In fact, I have studied my religion extensively, along with Christianity, Judaism, and Sunni beliefs. Having studied those, I have a balanced perspective of my religion. I think the chances of Qadhi knowing more about my belief system is slim, if at all. You don't have to become Shia or love our beliefs but its beneficial for you to have an open mind and put away your prejudices. If you are confident in your own beliefs then you have nothing to fear in learning about ours.

The Shia beliefs on Imamat is that because Islam is the final relgion it needs to be safeguarded and that Allah appoints leaders for our time in order to ensure that the true message of Islam isn't lost. We believe that these Imams were divinely appointed, yes, because God is the greatest and only he should have the ability to do that. We have great respect for the prophets. No doubt that the main prophets, the ones to whom the books were revealed...

But because there are 124000 Prophets (Sorry if I got the number wrong), many Shia scholars believe that the Imams are equal or greater than many of the unnamed lesser prophets. There are many different viewpoints to the degrees of importance of the various prophets and Imams among scholars in Shi'ism. As with any belief system, one cannot condense it down to simplistic ideas.
