  • WOW! they still have it.

  • I have been in a few bands and now just acoustic....But that drummer is intense!!!!!!.....Who the hell is he???????.....so powerful....

  • @Highpinesnow greg babcock

  • i was there front row he opened for deep purple

  • One person dislikes this tune.......get a life

  • does anyone know who the drummer is , he looks like chris layton of double trouble is that possible ? Dave is the man and sooo underrated . PEACE !!!!! LOVE IS!!!!

  • @loveisstudios I have seen this full concert on Netflix. The drummer was introduced and it's not Chris Layton. (I can't remember the drummer's name though) When watching the full concert, they show close ups of the drummer. He's much younger than Layton. He looks to be in his late 20's.

  • @loveisstudios

    Greg Babcock is the drummer.

  • This is just a personal observation, but I think that Dave does his best while playing a Telecaster.

  • This is the soundtrack to a good portion of my teenage years. LOVE his music. Saw him in 1974 in San Diego. Just amazing!

  • july 24,2010 , i will be 3 row front center with my flip cam !!

  • @mvs784 It's now 2/19/11 and I am reading your comment about your going to the Dave Mason concert. So tell all us Dave fan's on Youtube, how was the concert? I saw him way back in 1974 and he was great. From the sounds of recent video's, he still amazing. Let us know how those 3rd row, front center seats were.

  • @Msdistarr ...type in dave mason live @ the big top chataqua ! or my user name mvs784 and enjoy!

  • @Msdistarr ...type in dave mason live @ the big top chataqua ! or my user name mvs784 and enjoy!

  • @mvs784 I watched most of your tapes. You did a really good job with the camera. The video and audio are amongst the best I've seen for homemade taped concerts. From the quality of his performance, I'm guessing you had a great time. The mans voice "Never" changes. He sounds just as he did 25+ years ago. I don't think he is even capable of giving a bad performance. That my friends, is talent.

  • @Msdistarr THANK YOU!

  • Totaly still has it and he"s ridiculously underrated, He's so good and way way talented!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love Dave, since 75 first concert. I still have the playlist. I wrote down all the songs he played like 17 of his greatest hits.

Yeah I also agree on him being underrated musician since hes an acoustic/electric guitar Maestro,

this is pure rock no bull..

  • The very best.........I love him and his music.

  • how can the people there stay in there seats on this song , I would be up and moving my ass . with this song and Im a 53 year old guy .

  • dave opened for Deep Purple on this night and both shows are out on DVD

  • I can't believe this audience is seated through this whole tune. It's such a great boogie tune..........maybe a long day at work.

  • Why is Dave so underrated? I don't get it.Maybe because he chooses to keep a low profile?

  • this song breaks my nuts...best Dave Mason song on youtube....

  • Absolutely takes me back to a much more pleasant time in my Life. Such a great song. OMG what a tight Band. One of his Best. Thanks for posting it. I lost the album Years ago. Have got to see if it is available on CD.Mason Rocks. and He has not lost one bit in all these years. Actually maybe Even better with age. Like a fine wine.

  • He hasn't lost much. Great tune and nice performance after about 30 years. Thanks for posting.

  • きゃっ~! 大学時代のバンドでやったでぇ! イントロ聞いたら、体が無意識に動き出したわぁ!!

  • Just pure solid gold ROCK listen to that F. lead guitar man, woow

  • Yes great song either to start the concert I guess in this case it was.

Man it just sends chills up my spine just hoping being there at the concert.

Saw him like five times in the seventies and eighties, wow rock on Dave.

  • does he still tour, I'd love to see him live!

    Ideadude

  • I saw Dave 3 years ago, and he rocked the joint. Terrific and timeless. The best!

  • Dave Mason was the first concert I went to when I was 4 years old back in 1977 .

  • Great tune...I love the vocals and drums...if you have anymore good grovin tunes send them my way.thanks Peace

  • Nice message - "how we're moving closer together or is it going to take forever and ever? Let it go, let it flow through you . . . like a river . . . trying to find the reason for misunderstanding and doubt . . no one appreciates pushing . . . just take a good look all around . . . let it go . . . let it flow through you . . an angel's gonna call on you to help you on your way . . . so never let this love slip away."

The guys with the guitars get it. Wish we all could hear it. Peace.

  • Westport Playhouse,St Louis ,mid 80's .A memory that stands out.

  • Dave has always been great and he uses great players these guys are hot, bass player and drummer are in the groove and are VERY GOOD players!

  • ...turn back thyme decadez ago to the Stanley Theater in Pittsburgh, it still sounds the same and brings back memories ov the true understanding ov this song...

  • The only time I saw him, was in the 80's @ at supper club in Monroeville, PA. Very initimate crowd, mostly acoustic, I was sitting only feet away from him, much closer than front row seats. I would have to say this was the best concert I've ever been to & I've beed to many of them .

  • he want's to be a jammin hot guitar player

but I like him for his voice and the messages and as a singer

  • hippy song :P

  • Dave still consistantly puts on a flawless

show with flawless guitar skills, and harmonies!

  • I remember seeing Dave Mason in the 70's at Winterland in San Francisco, "Days on the Green" at the Oakland Colisieum, and at UNR in Reno. His songs brings fond memories for me.

  • Dave also performed this at California Jam II. It was televised and is also on the LP. Any footage of it anywhere?

  • his voice is the same as it was in the 70s.He is truly awesome.A very outstanding and wonderful voice. Love to see a concert with him.

  • This song, strangely enough, reminds me of the phillipines, around 77'or so, I was in the Navy at the time. What memories!!

  • Ahhhhhh...The P.I. Magsaysay Drive. Gordon Street. Sh** River and the Peso Divers. Subic City!!!

  • The sound of Dave some 30 years later brings back memories at the country club I will never forget!!

  • Dave rocks.......I remember back in the seventies when I first heard him and he still inspires me. He played a Gibson Firebird back then and was very smooth. (sweet tone).

  • Dave Rocks! The very first concert I ever went to in 1977. Dave Mason and the Little River Band. What a great show. Glad to see Dave's still rockin!

  • dave says 1 2 123 10

  • Love this song! Agree MagiMan77 that this is his best song ever. Wasn't this song on CALIFORNIA JAM '77?

  • Yes, this is one of 4 songs that Dave performed at Cal Jam 77. Dave is awesome and I believe the most under appreciated musician of all time. Dave is awesome!

  • Love to see rockers in their 60s still cranking out the jams that made their careers, and made our lives so much more worthwhile. Can remember sitting in my room, doing homework (!!! Hahaha ...) with this elpee playing, over and over and over and over ...

  • jflinn, I, too kinda remember sitting in my room. LOL I have been listening to this guy for???? yrs. And will continue. BTY, U have good songs on your favs

  • "Let It Flow" was my older brother's album, and he allowed me to keep it when he went off to college. He took his massive album collection with him, and allowed me to pick 5 -- I picked "Let It Flow" (Dave Mason); "Toys In The Attic" (Aerosmith); "Demons and Wizards" (Uriah Heep); "Something/Anything" (Todd Rundgren); and "David Live" (David Bowie). I think I did well! LOL ... Loved that album; it always "removed me" from where I was, to where Dave was. Classic album.

  • he always opens his sets with this song. it is a great song tho.

  • Best Song Dave Mason Ever Did!!!

  • DAMN! Check out the blonde at 0:02! HOTTIE!!

  • This is gooood rock & Roll by an old master

  • great clip...dave still has it.

  • @JBTG33 still has it in spades and he may actually be better? I have seen him many times over the last 30 years and his small venue tours have been beyond amazing, the sound is sick!

  • This sounds (almost) exactly like on the record. Great performance. Go Dave!

  • This guy ALWAYS has! Sounds same in studio.
