I love that point about all those bad dictators restricting guns - it's completely true and the left just doesn't get that. First goes the guns, then free speech and everything else caves with it as there is nothing to really back it up.

This is exactly why the 2nd Amendment was written into the constitution in the first place!

As a nine year veteran of the US Military(5 years Navy\4 years Marine), I served next to all types of people, people who overall had a sense of self-defense and honest, law-abiding use of firearms. The original interpretation of the law was that only White men could own guns....to protect themselves from rebelling slaves. In the UK you have to get a permit from the Firearms Enquiry Team

In Israel go to The Israel Dept of the interior and it will tell you the process on how to buy a gun.

In Australia you can actually go to their Police force website and fill out a permit to get a gun.
