Parantha is made by using oil or Ghee (clarified butter) hence lots of calories but tastes the best. There are about 50 different kinds of paranthas cooked in India.

Chapati, Roti & Phulka are the same things. Chapati is a Hindi word whereas Roti is a North Indian word. About 20 years ago my grandmother did not know what "chapati" is as she is from an interior Himalayan region, this part of India only knew Roti/Phulka which is called Chapati in other parts of India. About 10 types.

You can make roti's as they're called (the bread without fillings or spices) from wholewheat flower, salt and water you can add some oil but its optional and i find it better ju to leave it out and makes healthier roti's. Its realy easy to make and realy good. There are many videos on youtube on making it, Vahchef has made one of them.
