I'm watching this video and my Lacie is making the exact same sound at the same frequency and and interval. Is this the death rattle?

I am getting that exact sound as well. It comes in the same frequency also. what did you do to resolve this issue?

I opened a support ticket with Lacie, and subsequently send my drive to Lacie for repair. It was returned to me 10 days later with the same fault. I opened another support ticket, sent the drive back for repair and this time, they replaced my drive with their new "Fanless" d2 drive.  I am happy now...!!
