All of are family have been Truck Drivers from my father who taught my brother & me. Which in turn he also taught my ex husband & my two sons & my daughter. I have lost my brother in a truck accident & now my youngest son has passed on. He had stopped driving & was a mechanic but was having trouble staying off the road. But now he is gone in another accident. She this really hit home.

I agree with this song without are truck drivers where would we be? If they would BAND together and stop doing their job it would shut down alot of business and truck drivers were alot safer back when this song came out . And there are bad drivers in everything now not just big trucks .I think it would not hurt for everyone to take a safty lesson in driven. NO ONE IS PERFECT

im a United States Marine and im stationed here in japan for 2 years and when i was a young buck i would take trips with my father anytime i could now when i sit here and think back it brings tears to my eyes knowing next time i get in a truck my dad will be in front of me leading me across the United States showing me what im protecting

Reminds me of my Daddy, and what I believe was a silent prayer that he be ready to do the right thing. I come from a long line of truckers in my family tree, and we try to do it right all the time. From a 2nd son of a 2nd son...boyh drive tractor trailers.
