Remember, Segal's fights are all choreographed as are all martial arts fights in movies.
Even as these guys train to achieve their rankings in their respective styles all moves are planned according to presumed assailant attack in that particular style; Therefore these styles are only good to a degree on the street level.
All fighters do not attack correspondly to these postures.
Of Segal, Van Damm and Norris, only Norris is the proven real deal in actual fights.
I do love Segal though.

Well, I can see how someone could perceive his fighting style as not as flashy as say Tony Jaa or Jackie Chan, but Steven Seagal is a 7th Dan black belt in aikido and he studied judo, karate and kendo as well. I personally like his fighting because in a real fight in real life, you are going to do whatever it takes to win and to me that's what he showcases.

Yea, but in real life you DEFINITELY aren't that untouchable like Seagal in every movie he stars in. If you like realism, don't watch a seagalmovie, i mean just look at this guy, he never get hurt in any fight, any movie.
He never get damaged by his contrahents and on the other hand his enemys always get totally owned by him and battered like shit, is THAT realistic? In a fight with nearly 20 enemys or so? I'd probably say NO, and it's annoying to see, not any pressure all the time.

Yea, he's an aikido-master. Yea, he probably would fuck many people up (at least in his prime), but that doesn't mean any change for the facts i told before.
A few fights are pretty cool, but in the main his movies are really boring, because he fights with a kinda cowardly personality and don't get hurt anytime by anyone.
And i really don't think he would win against personalities like Vandamme, Norris, Lee and so on.

He can fight aikido very well, but the man exxagerate his power a lot and isn't very sympathic, his movies are overall the same and boring and the past shows how he deal a challange by somebody who is obivious more powerful than him in real life (vandamme for example): He ran away like a coward, you can test it, that's a well-documented fact.
