  • @songblurred Yup it must've been something like that LOL But Goat Rock is a bit of a rough landing.. Thanks so much Don.

  • Magnifique !!! cette chanson est une véritable poésie, c'est beau !

Vous me rappelez certains groupes des années 50/60...

    Merci pour le partage

  • @54x14 Merci Fred. Je suis si heureux que vous l'avez apprécié!

  • Beautiful song performed perfectly.

  • @Sunambra Thanks so much Martin. Happy new year!

  • So beautiful! Has a Peter, Paul and Mary feel to it!

  • @Michinil Thank you Michelle.

  • Gingerjake2 - Betty and I have been singing together for over 35 years and I have been playing with both Stan and Betty for at least the last couple of decades. We all especially love this song. How does Stan write a song that sounds like it's been around for 200 years? Mike

  • @finemc28 Hi Mike - good to hear from you too. Maybe that's the secret. Your voices are like the wood of as guitar & have absorbed each others tones...whatever the reason, you do all make beautiful music together. I'm just so glad Stan shares it with us here.

Happy New Year to you & Betty too.

  • Gawd that is a beautiful song. Every time I hear it I'm reminded of that. I think the interesting thing to me in this one at least is how your voices all sound like you're related. Usually siblings make good harmonies together. But Mike, while related isn't blood related, yet sounds like he is...just superb guys! Erm, guys & gal! Sorry Betty! =}

I think this might be your best one yet! ♪ ♫

  • @Gingerjake2 This one just keeps getting better. Thank you Ginger and happy new year!!

  • yes im back again.. listening for the 3rd time now.. wooohoo.. i was wondering.. as just a random though.. that last bit at the end the guitar does? maybe it be cool if you did this too before you start at the second verse: The captain cried oh my brothers and sisters

God only knows where tomorrow, we'll be.

Memories fade of that distant harbor

They've been there before long long ago

just a suggestion i thought might sound good without messing with the feel of the song..

    Jaydon

  • @JaydonTWhistler Good suggestion Jaydon! We'll have to try that next time. Thanks a lot. I'm glad you like it!

  • oooh, now its stuck in my head hihi.. very cool song.. thanks for sharing...

    take care
