I hated Halo 3 campaign so I agree with you fella but Halo 3's multiplayer is best in Halo series and Halo Reach fixed all the campaign problems , now let's hype ourselves before Halo 4 :)

I totally agree with this guy. Halo 3 is a great game, but its whole story aspect fails. They should remake the campaign with better writing

So many halo fanboys on here who can't take an ounce of critique. (they probably paied full price for ODST.) The review was pretty spot on, he didn't ass lick the game like everyone else. The multiplayer is amazing but had a very underwhelming story mode. And the game was hyped big time for an epic ending. Not a single huge battle that felt like there was more then 4 people fighting, it felt like a big let down Bungie miss the mark with a big scope on things.

Halo reach is the only one to raise the bar this GEN in the halo series on the 360.

bad networking? you simply have a bad connection, because I never experienced any of those hideous lagging issues you demonstrated and talked about, even on wi-fi

It seems like almost all video games can't deliver that sense of desperation you were talking about. There needs to be a mission where you are totally overwhelmed and just book it out of there as fast as possible, while hiding and dodging opponents.

I respect your opinion, but in all honesty, some of your points are bullshit, and most actually are explained and contradicted in the campaign. Also, I played co-op over Xbox Live in Halo 3 a lot, and I never had issues with lag, period. You and your friends must have shitty connections, that's all I can think of.

One final note, games are not about story, they are about GAMEPLAY. I don't play campaigns for stories, I play them to fight challenging CPUs. I play multiplayer to fight against other humans.

Plus your complaint about the the presentation failing to set the mood is complete bullshit. You're telling me that Floodgate, and Cortana didn't look dark and creepy. Plus you are also telling me that the music in Floodgate wasn't creepy. I would also like to say that necromanzer52 was right when he said that Halo 2 was more linear yet you you don't point that out. Plus if youre going to say the campaign sucks give more reasons than story and length (which were also bullshit crticisms)

I have nothing against you but you didn't feel like it was the final stand when:

1.Floodgate ended

2. the final level started

3. Cortana is found

4. Miranda's death

5. Citadel charge

6. Crow's Nest opening.

i think you were a little rough on the canpain everything was true but you could have metioned more good things about it still tho great review i personaly had a great time playing the canpain

You're a bit harsh towards the the story yeah it's not the epic tale we were promised but it's still pretty fucking epic.

Also halo 2 was much more linear than halo 3.
