  • if only threet was denard :(

  • Brad Nessler= Best announcer ever period

  • look at the maize and blue convoy on that pick six

  • i was at this game. it was my bday present that year. best ever present

  • Ohio State fan here...but watching this game, knowing michigan's momentum for the entire season was down the toilet, down 19 at halftime, then be able to tough it out, not quit, and put up a comeback like this was awe-inspiring. I'll always hate michigan, but I'll always respect the hell out of 'em.

  • what happened to threet. Did he still play for michigan in 2009?

  • @partyinmyshirt09 Threet transferred to Arizona State after 2008, by rule, sat out in 2009, played last season, and had 1 year left of eligibility this season, but has chosen to fore go his final year.

  • i was at this game

  • Brad Nessler is the best.

  • Originally from Michigan, brought a friend from Oklahoma back with me to this game. Glad I could show him a Big House experience, if only for one quarter, haha.

    GO BLUE!

  • What people don't seem to notice about this game is while Michigan had a ton of turnovers, Wisconsin also had 4 of them. That kept Michigan in it

  • I love how after every big play you can hear the crowd get progressivley louder. God I love our fans

  • i was at this game! by the band

  • Michigan needs to rebuild, but great game.. Ashame they lost Mcguffie

  • turned this game off three times but couldnt stay away and then this happened lol...go blue at 3:30

  • @cmoney7463

i felt exactly the same way!!! but i can tell you this... when what happened in those 8 seconds took place i was jumpin around my apartment goin nuts. GO BLUE!

  • I was so mad that game I almost left at half and I never leave games at half. I ended up staying, remembering games like 2004 MSU and 2005 PSU and look what happened Michigan wins. That is why I never leave games early

  • lol.

the ONE game worth watching last season.

this year we will be a little better, next year top 25, year after top 10

  • And Minnesota

  • this was the best upset in Michigan season I was glad they one I was hanging on my seat the last on wisconsin's last possestion thank godness there was an incomplete pass

  • whats threet's 40

  • Don't know, but it looks like his 60 time is about 8 seconds, in full pads with the ball while being chased :)

  • you know what.... just watching the formation and the some of the plays makes me hella excited for this year...

just remember this - when we beat wisconson EVERY michigan fan felt like the team could really be strong. Don't get me wrong - they failed pretty miserably after that .... but if michigan even HAD the ability to play like that last year, just imagine what they'll do this year being stronger at EVERY single position on offense. EVERY one.

  • Hey, I saw some first downs in there! God, it was rough last year, I am gettin so excited for this season.

  • its like a bad taste i need to get out of my mouth lol

  • why couldn't our defense play like this all year?

  • cause in the end, you can't overcome bad coaching, and Shafer was an awful d-coordinator. Things will be radically different under Robinson, and Michigan will go 9-4 this season.

    Go Blue!

  • GO BLUEEEEE

  • The big 10 is weak and over rated compared to the big 12. the only good team is like... oh wait your all overated.

  • ummmmm nope

  • excuse me this is big ten vs big ten not big ten vs big 12 saying the big ten sucks when they are not playing the big 12 only makes you look like a hater

  • My bad man, I don't even remember what I even said that got my past two comments minus 6 lol but good job in winning. It was a hard fought game. Both teams played well. The Notre Dame, Michigan 2009 game that is

  • The team tied for 1st in the Big XII supposed to be a superpower that wanted to play Florida got lucky against Ohio State, the Big Ten #2 (who only scored a total of 9 points against USC and PSU, the only other good teams they played). Missouri with their Temco Bowl offense that was hyped up early should have lost to Northwestern, Texas Tech lost big to Ole Miss and Oregon beat up on Okie State, the same Oregon that was taken to overtime by a 4-8 (2-6) Purdue team. The Big XII isn't much better.

  • Could you honestly tell me what I even said to get minus 6 on the comment I left? I can't even see what I said and it was a long time ago so I honestly don't remember

  • brandon minor is the best running back in the big ten in 09 im tellin ya.

michigan is goin to the rose bowl fuck the buckeyes with that pryor punk

  • michigan 2009 baby

  • it's hard to watch this as a badger fan... ouch!

  • brandon minor and carlos brown are big time running backs. We need to ride them all through 2009.

  • Amen to that! Minor and Brown are easily the best tandem we've had at tailback since Chris Perry and B.J Askew in 2002. Minor and Brown might both rush for 1000 yards next season, and don't forget all the other tailbacks we have-Michael Shaw, Fitzgerald Toussaint, Vincent Smith, Mike Cox, and Teric Jones (too bad I can't add Kevin Grady to that list, but whatever)

    Go Blue!

  • i knew after this that wisconsin is sorry if they lost to michigan last yr!! OVERRATED

  • lol, at 3:38 you can see one of the Wisconsin Band members ducking down in disappointment.

  • who ever made this video knows nuthin mcguffie is number 2 ,minor is numer 4

  • The numbers, after the names, were for how long the touchdown was, not the actual player number.

  • at 5:23 pause and look at the bottom of the vid.anyway great game!

  • i was at this game, best one i have ever been to.

  • I was at this game. I still had a boner for about a week after it.

  • HAHAHA

  • it said in the video that it was 2nd biggest. not biggest..

geez, i hate it when it does that

  • Go put your teeth back in.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't know him like personally, but he goes to our church and he's really nice, my mom is really good friends with him though :P

  • i know steve threet :P

  • haha, michigan still sucks

  • now i say what? that threet was bad at times this season? Yeah, of coruse Threet had a few bad games (Miami and Michigan State). Thats obvious to anybody, even drones like you. But if you're gonig to try and tell em that Threet weas terrible all season, then you;re full of shit. threet has eanred a chance to be our starting QB next season, and I say let the ebst man in competition between him, Forcier, and beaver win the job

    Go blue!

  • "and nearly all of our linemen got hurt"

We had some problems at right guard when Cory Zirbel went down, and Mark orttman was a litle banged up here and there, but otherwsie, our o-line was healthy. McAvoy, Molk, Moosman, and schilling were a-okay all season, and thanks mainly to terribe coaching from greg Frey, the o-line was an abomination. Frey isn't half the o-line coach that Andy Moeeller was

  • I think the fact that Schilling was the only returning starter and the rest of the guys had rarely played before hand had more to do with our o-line's performance than Frey's coaching ability. By the end of the year our Oline was performing fairly well.

  • ys, our o-line got a little better as the season advanced. However, it still shoouldn't have been so horrible most of the season like it was. We lost 4 of 5 starters on the o-line gonig into the 2001 season, and the new guys that stepped in (Demetrius Solomon at LT, Dave Petruzillo at LG, Kurt Anderson at C, and Tony pape at RT, plus returnnig strter Jonathan Goodwin at RG) all formed a very servicable o-line. Andy moeller coached those guys up well in 01. frey faield to so in 2008

  • We only averaged .1 yard less in yards per carry in 2008 compared to 2007, usually with one less blocker and after losing #1 draft pick Jake Long and 3 other starters. In addition to losing our O-line, we lost our leading rusher, as well.

And keep in mind that the opposing defenses were showing no respect for our passing game so they were selling out to stop the run as well.

Frey did a good job considering the hand he was dealt.

  • If nothing else, Frey did not do as well in 2008 as Moeller did in 2001. Hell, NONE of dickrods assistants have done well aside from fred Jackson (who was already a Michigan man). I swear to God, dickrod has shown such cronyism with his hand picked asistants that it makes George Bush's slection of Michael Brown to head FEMA look really objective and logical.....

  • .....but back to Frey: our only consistently decent lineman in 2008 was David Moosman, whereas in 2001, everybody was consistently decent (and sometimes consistently good) with the exception of Solomon at LT, who lost his job the enxt season and never got it back. we may ahve only averaged .1 yards per carry less then in 2007, but thats more due to the zone blocknig scheme we've been running for 3 seasons then Frey's coaching. Moeller was dealt a band hand in 2001, and he did much better

  • Comparing 2001 to 2008 is pretty useless because it's a pretty large gap in time. A comparison between 2007 and 2008 is much more telling. Now, Moeller had 3 returning starters on the O-line, one of them the 1st round draft pick, he also had the school's leading rusher in the backfield, the school's most prolific passer, two of the most talented receivers in school history to keep defenses honest, and he 4.0 yards a carry.

  • Comparing 2001 to 2008 is not useless. A 7 year gap is not enough to change a coach from radically good to bad. joe Paterno is as good as he's ever been, and he's been a head coach since the LBJ administration. With all due respect, using "time" as an excuse is a weak argument. Moeller was dealt just as bad of a hand in 2001 as frey was in 2008: Michigan had lost 4 starting OL (Backus, Hutchinson, Williams, and Brandt), not to mention their top TB and receiver....

  • ....but yet, although Moellers circumstances in 2001 were nearly indentical to 2008, our o-line was much better in 2001 then it was in 2008. Thats coachnig right there. Moeller got the o-line to "reload" in a way. Frey did not. No maybe things will be different enxt season for our o-line, especialy with all 5 starters returning. But the initial conclusion is that Frey is not a good o-line coach at all.

  • 2001 and 2008 were not identical in any regard besides the fact that the oline had lost most of their starters. From 2000-2001, Lloyd Carr was still coaching, and not every assistant coach save one was replaced in the most dramatic culture shock that michigan football has ever witnessed.

  • Also, just because both the 2001 and 2008 lines were fresh faces doesn't mean they're instantly comparable. That's like saying Steven Threet's season should have been every bit as good as Chad Henne's.

  • the circumstances were nearly identical: just like 2001, we lost 4 starters; just like 2001, the lone guy returning was talented but never showed it on the field; just like 2001, we lost our top TB; just like 2001, we lost our top receiver; and just like 2001, we lost our starting QB. If you think the circumstances were so different that you can't compare 2001 and 2008, explain yourself.

  • Frey, on the other hand, is stuck with 4 linemen who have never started before, and total amount of snaps played probably totals less than 50, and the lone returning starter just wasn't that good. Depth on the O-line was bad enough, but 3 linemen were injured so a walk-on and a converted D-lineman had to play. Michigan's offense had no legitimate passing threat, so the defense was designed to stop the run, stuffing a lot of guys in the box against a 5 man line,

  • Now, 2008's Oline had way more going against them than the 2007 oline, yet they allowed 3.9 yards per carry. Now, i know you're on the anti Rich-Rod bandwagon (and you'll probably jump on the pro Rich-Rod bandwagon as soon as he starts winning), but saying Frey did a terrible job coaching is just ridiculous and way off base. The O-line improved tremendously from the beginning of the season to the end.

  • "but saying Frey did a terrible job coaching is just ridiculous and way off base."

All I'm saying is thar, given the circumstances were identical, our o-line should ahve been at elast as good in 2008 as it id in 2001. But yet, our o-line in 2008 was much worse then 2001. Thats poor coachnig by Frey right there.

  • Again, the circumstances weren't identical and there is no way that you can compare those two and say that is a solid arguement.

And you still haven't explained how a .1 dropoff in YPC from the previous year's line (with the 1st round draft pick and 3 returning starters) in a coach's first year with 4 first-time starters suggests that that Frey is a bad coach. If Moeller could only get 4.0 YPC with Jake long, what makes you think he could have done that or more with this year's line?

  • "the circumstances weren't identical and there is no way that you can compare those two and say that is a solid arguement."

You have yet to prove that the circumstances make a 2001 and 2008 compariosn illegit. I just proved how the circumstances were identical (or close to it). So my argument that Frey should ahve done as good of a job as Moeller did is perfectly legit

  • "suggests that that Frey is a bad coach"

Frey's o-line was much healthier in 2008 then Moellers was in 2007. And in the zone blocknig scheme, its not as hard to replace departed starters cause the scheme is so successful (as Michigan proved in 2006, Minnesota proved undr glen mason, and Denver has been proving for over a decade under Shanahan). Frey's o-line should ahve been at elast as good in 2008 as Moelers was in 2007. It wasn't. It wasn't enarly as good. This suggests Frey is no good

  • correction: as Moellers was in 2001

  • Right, it is acceptable to expect someone who was never meant to see significant playing time play just as well as #1 draft pick the year before.

You're inability to think logically is astounding. I'm done here.

  • Nobody expected any of our new starters to be as good as Long was. But I ahvwe a newsflash for you: Long is not the only starter on the o-line. The o-line does not depend on one man like the QB position does. There are 5 o-linemen. Not one. As a unit, the 2008 line should not have been as bad as it was.

BTW, I find it funny that you talk about "thinking logically" when you expect a head coach who just led us to a 3-9 record to lead us to multiple victories.

    Go blue!

  • That is a joke Frey is arguably one of the best position coaches in the program. That line really had no talent. Seriously alot of those guys were nothing but depth guys until all the massive attrition hit

  • "Frey is arguably one of the best position coaches in the program"

this might yet be true considring how shitty Michigans other position coaches are (Rod Smith, Tony Dews, Bruce Tall, Jay hopson, and especially Tony Gibson). Next to Fred Jsckson (who's a really good position coach), Frey might be the best position coach we've got. But that doesn't take away from the fact that Frey is a shitty coach. he's just not as shitty as the other guys

  • "That line really had no talent"

Oh realy? Stephen Schilling was a 5 star propsect and a returnnig starter. David Mossman was a 4 star prospect and a redshirt junior. Tim McAvoy and Mark orttman were only 3 star prospects, so they weren't necesarily talented, but then again, they were both redshirt juniors and who say lots of playing time in 2007 and played well sporadically, they aren't talentless like you say (McAvoy's athltiicsm was supposed to be an ideal fit for our zone scheme).....

  • ...the only starting o-linemen we ahd whom you could legitimitely say was not taletned is David Molk since Molk is a 3 star redshirt freshmen who only weighs like 282 pounds (whereas orttman and mcAvoy top the scales at 295 and had experience going into 08). And Molk was thrown into the fire only when Cory Zirbel (a 4 star redshirt junior) went down with a knee injury and Moosman was moved to RG to take Zirbels place, which left Molk as our default starter at center

  • Now obviously, we've had more taletned o-line....much more taletned o-lines. Our 2008 o-line was most certainly below avwerage in talent compared to most of our other o-lines down through the years. BUT, that is no excuse for our o-line playing so badly for most of the season (it got better towards the end of the season). Below average play can be accredited to the loss of 4 starters and a NO.1 overall draft pick. Horrible play can be attributed to poor coachnig on the part of Frey

  • Personally i just think it comes down to talent. This year however the coaches are super high on Omameh, Barnum, and khoury which shows some good things to come ahead for michigan

  • Well, I think we can agree on this: the o-line can only get better next season with all 5 starters returning and with a couple redhsirt freshmen who are highly regarded (O'Neill and Mealer) thrown into the mix. I also think juniors Perry Dorrestein and John Ferrara will bwe in the mix. our o-line should be better next season. But I don't know if it'll actually be good. I expect it to be just mediocre, but hell, that would be a significant upgrade from 2008.

    Go Blue!

  • The coaches don't think that highly of O'neill (needs more time in the weight room, better technique), and mealer's development was really slowed cause of the tragic accident he went through. Im tellin ya man they are very high on Omameh who was only a 2 star in last years class, barnum the 4 star we stole from florida, and khoury the 3 star at center

  • I don't know my friend. O'Neill is a 4 star prospect, was rated as one of the top 5 tackles in the country, and is 6'7, 295. I think O'Neill will be ion the mix for the starting spot at left tackle next season along with Orttman, Dorrestein, and Omameh. Mealer's development was indeed slowed by his car acident a year ago. Hopefully he gets healthy and gains about 10 pounds of muscle, cause if those two things happen, he should be really good (he's 6'6 283 right now)

  • Now with Omameh, the dude is pbviously a tugh, hard nosed worker. The fact he was in the mix for playing time as a true freshman despite being only a 2 star prospect shows he could be a diamond in the rough. However, the fact remains he's still a 2 star who's also really undersized at 6'4, 260. I'm not counting on omameh to be a rock on the o-line, but I'm not counting him out either. Hopefully the coaches belief in him is well-founded.

  • With barnum, again, he's incredibly undersized at 6'2, 246 pounds. So really, its unlilely he will become a gamebreaking o-linemen even if he gained 25 pounds over the course of his career. But just like with omameh, I hope for the best. And finally, with Rocko Khoury, he reminds me of David Bass cause he's got alot of upside and can play center or guard. He's got decent size (6'6, 280), but should gain some muscle and bulk up to 290.

All in all, i mostly like our redshirt freshmen o-linemen

  • Oh, barnum is already at like 280 or 290, the roster is pretty inaccurate.

  • "barnum is already at like 280 or 290,roster is pretty inaccurate"

really? You've got a source on that? I find it hard to beleive that a player could gain that much weight that fast, but hell, maybe the roster really is innaccurate, or else Barnum is like Andre Wadsworth (who went from a 217 pound walkon to a 280 pound NO.3 overall pick).

Who do you think our starters on the line will be next season? I say its Dorrestein at LT, Ferrara at LG, molk at C, Moosman at RG, and schilling at RT

  • " If Moeller could only get 4.0 YPC with Jake long, what makes you think he could have done that or more with this year's line?"

because A, his line would ahve been much healthier in 2008 then it was in 2007, and B, because after the o-line relaoded so well in 2001, Moeller likely would ahve done the same in 2008. moeller got the o-line to play at least respectibly in 2001.Frey's o-line was garbage in 2008. Even as it got better as the season went on, it was still very bad.

  • "The O-line improved tremendously from the beginning of the season to the end."

It got better. I'll give Frey credit for that. But about 2007: may i remind you that the entire right side of the line was in constant flux all year due to injuries. Its doubtless that our o-line would ahve been much better in 2007 had everybody been healthy. Contrast this to 2008: MacAvoy was banged up, and Orttman had some early season issues, but otherwise, the o-line was healthy in 2008

  • One more thing, people would be more willing to listen to you and take you seriously if you would be more civil in your comments. Ok, we get it, you don't like Rich Rodriguez. But calling him "DickRodlololol" just makes you look immature and stupid. Personal attacks on people who debate with you are unnecessary, as well.

  • "Personal attacks on people who debate with you are unnecessary, as well."

the content of my debates with everybody else is by business, not yours. And as my beef with you, it was you who commented on my 1997/2003 compariosn video and said I was an idiot for wanting dickrod fired. I didn't know you existed before that comment. (BTW, for the record, I'm only a bomb thrower with Michigan fans like you who are in the tank for dickrod. I'm actually quite civilized everywhere else)

  • the 21 yard scamper against Utah, and 15 yard TD run againt Miami, the 34 yard TD run against Wisky, and the 27 yard TD catch against Toeldo. Then he finally becomes the starter in the 7th game against penn State, and he looks like a Mike Hart clone. Just klimke with Brown, Dicjkrod took the approach that if Minor isn't 100%, that means he should ride the pine. Fucking bullshit!!!! Minor was fine, and dickrod faield to utilize him

  • He may not ahve been 100% in those first 4 games, but 75% of Brown is better then 100% of a true freshman. You don't bench brown and give him miniscule touches just because he's not 100%. Brown was fine, and dickrod simply failed to utilzie him

    "BM got hurt"

Again. I'm callnig bullshit. Minor was fine as well. He only got 13 carrioes in the first 6 games, and nearly every damn time he touched the ball, ahe was making big plays:

  • "Carlos Brown barely played at all this season"

Bullshit. he was fine in the first 4 games against Utah, Miamai, ND, and Wisky, but he only got 6 touches. Then he went down with a knee injury, but I question the extent of that injury as well. Look at how he came out of nowwhere against NW and rushed 23 tiems for 115 yards. I highly doubt Brown was that injured over the 5 games he missed, and its a selfe vident fact that he was fine in the firt 4 games.

  • GO RICH ROD!!!!!!

  • Hwo do you like dickrod now? 3-9? WHAT A JOKE!!!!

    Fire dickrod

    Go Blue

  • The highlight of our season and I was there at least. Too bad we were only a point better than Cal Poly in retrospect. haha. We're going to be so kick ass in 2010.

  • Yes, this ws indeed the highlight of our season. As horrible as 2008 was, this 27-25 win voer Wisky was one of the top 5 games I've ever seen. What a great comeback!!!

    Go Blue!

  • one small highlight of our season

  • "Dude, losing is part of the game. You MUST accept it, or you are not a real fan"

Abd that logic right there is why idiots like ou aren't true michigan fans.

Losing is NEVER acceptable with teams like Michigan Wolverines football. EVER

    you're a hopless case.

    go blue

  • "Thank you. This Poole asshole thinks because UM is having a bad season it's RR's fault"

hey, 14 year old retard. Why don't you respond to what I say instead of being a little baby bitch?

"He's a pretend UM fan. Only liked it when UM was winning"

LOL. when did I ever say i don't root for Michigan? I root for Michigan no matter what their record is, but that doens't eman I accept LOSING like you and fake fans like you do!!!!

    fuck you fat boy

    go blue!

  • Hey reaper01, are you still gonig to defend dickrod after he has led us to a school record 8 losses? Or are you gonig to confess your sins?

    Go Blue!

  • I love watching the opposing team's marching band members' reactions when we have a big play.

  • Though we lost our opener two years in a row

    Though we lost to toledo

Though this is the first time weve had 8 losses in Michigan history

Its still great to be a ][\/][ICHIGAN fan

    GOOOOOOOOO BLUE!

  • For those of you who saw the game against Minnesota, I am not sure how Nick Sheridan looked so good. I was like come on when I learned that threet was out. But Nick somehow played a great game. Let's hope we can keep it up against Wisconsin.

  • "Let's hope we can keep it up against Wisconsin"

I think you meant to say Northwestern. haha

    Go Blue!

(PS: Sheridan was garbage against NW, as was Threet)

  • Yessir, QB is everything, and either Beaver or Forcier will do us wonders.

    GO BLUE!

Extremely disappointing about this season, unacceptable, but we will move on.

  • I said Threet sucked against NW. That doesn't eman he's sucked all season long. Good lord, all you prodickrod fans have declared Forcier or Beaver are the saviors based on their play against high school competition, and we will be double fucked as a result. Pryor is a better athlete then both, and he's just now starting to learn what you can and cannot do on this level. Our "saviors" are still kids, and prone to mistakes and poor games, jjst like Threet is doing this season

  • QB is not everything. Coachnig is everything. And dickrod has led us to a SCHOOL RECORD 8 losses. He needs to be FIRED.

    Go Blue!

  • Coaching really has nothing to do with this season. I mean, look how many starters were on offense that were starters last year. Also, threet stared down his receivers so many times which arguably could have caused us 3 losses, (Toledo,MSU,Purdue) Also, he wasn't a threat running, Forcier and Beaver can both run, which adds an 3rd dimension to the offense, and that's what the offense has been missing the entire season.

  • I sent you a message with my backup profile. Unblock my Poole1Dan profile and we can talk.

Until then, fuck you and Go Blue

"coachnig has nothnig to due with this season"

are you that clueless? And I told you "nigga": Forcier and Beaver will STRUGGLE as treuf reshman next season, just like threet is.

    Fuck you

    Fire dickrod

    Go Blue

  • You get your balls chopped off or something? Take a fucking look at the 2004/2005 class...How many of them remain on the the team??? When you lose your seniors to the NFL or another reason, you're going to struggle, also,STEVEN THREET is GARBAGE, I think you're the only douche bag that think he's an "ok" QB, the dude sucks, ever watch how he throws the ball? This isn't baseball, Ever hear of Chad Henne? True Freshmen, How bout, Boise State's QB?, Shit even Terrelle Pryor.

  • "When you lose your seniors to the NFL or another reason, you're going to struggle"

No, you're not. we didn't struggle in 2001, so we shouldn't struggle in 2008 either

"STEVEN THREET is GARBAGE, I think you're the only douche bag that think he's an "ok" QB, the dude sucks, ever watch how he throws the ball?"

like i said: don't be wailnig on Forcier and Beaver when they truggle as freshman next season.

  • " Ever hear of Chad Henne? True Freshmen, How bout, Boise State's QB?, Shit even Terrelle Pryor."

Henne is exception you fucktard, not the rule, Freshman QB's usualy STRUGGLE in year one you stupid "nigga." Jucie Williams, Vince young, Matthews Stafford,Chris Simms, Brady Quinn, John Navarre, carson Palmer...you name it. Threet is a good QB, but Dickrod is forcing him to run the sprd option, he has no o-line, some of his receivcers (like Shitavious odoms) suck, and he's a FRESHMAN

  • So lay off of Rich Rod's dick, and grow up, you need to look outside the box, and not be so narrow minded. Calm the fuck down about this season, we all know it's been a fiasco. I'm not saying Michigan is going to win the big 10 next year, but I can guarantee they'll go bowling. So Shut the fuck up, and grow up.

    GO BLUE!

    IN ROD WE TRUST!

  • "but I can guarantee they'll go bowling. So Shut the fuck up, and grow up"

no, you shut the fuck up and stop rooting for Michigan.Dickrod has led us to a school record 8 losses, our first losses against penn State, MSU, and many otrhers in years, our first losing season since 1967, our first non bowl season sicne 1974, DEPSITE HAVNIG TONS OF TALENT AND EXPERIENCE ON OFFENSE AND DEFENSE. and you think he's a good coach?

bad news doesn't get better with time dumbass

    go blue

  • Me stop rooting for Michigan? Hahahaha!wow....just wow...You're one of the "fans" that Rich Rod is telling to "get a life" Sorry life isn't going well for you, actually, im not. But you're the one who needs to stop rooting for michigan, you're all negative, close minded mother fuck. Go fuck yourself dip shit, give it time, What were people saying about Saban his first year in Alabama? You really expect to win with the QB's we have? I mean, a fucking walk on. Our best QB is a WALK ON, QB U! M^M

  • "Me stop rooting for Michigan?"

Yes, because you blindly beleive dickrod is a good coach despite the fact he's led us to our worst season ever. newslash: good coaches WIN FOOTBALL GAMES

"Sorry life isn't going well for you"

I'm doing just fine thankyou very much. I started college just in the nick of time, cause now i don't ahve to ehar any bullshit from idiot highschool students about the wolverines. I ahven't gotten any shit from anybody on campus....thank God!!!

  • "But you're the one who needs to stop rooting for michigan"

I told you moron: I ahve the right to critique the team I root for, as does everybody. don't beleive me? Then you've clearly never talkin to a Detroit Lions fan

"Go fuck yourself dip shit, give it time"

fuck patience. This is Michigan. There's is no patience at Michigan with coaches. Dickrod needs to WIN NOW OR GET OUT, and he's not winning, so he needs to be FIRED

  • "What were people saying about Saban his first year in Alabama?"

yeah right, as if dickrod is gonig to be like Nick saban. Fat chance. And besdies, there are so many coaches that have had success in year one (even coaches implementing a culture change), that dickrod has NO EXCUSE for having a losing record in year one. NONE. want me to name those coaches for you? I will: Coker, Beliema, Miles, Peterson, erickson, Mack brown, Richt, Spuerrier, Stoops, meyer, and BO SCHEMBECHLER

  • lol just shut the fuck up already, only the true fans know he's legit, infact, Desmond Howard "endorsed" Rich Rodriguez. And no, he didn't make that comment at the begging of the season, he said that on the Michigan radio show and has full confidence in Rich Rod. The only reason "miles" had success last year is because those are Saban's Recruits.. And honestly, Miles makes the stupidist calls on the field he's playing roulette.

  • "only the true fans know he's legit"

No, only idiots like you and 14 year old fuckboy "the reaper" think he's a good coach. Guess what bitch; the mgoblog cult doesn'ty speak for Michigan nation. Even Brian Cook admits there are millions of fans just like me who either want dickrod gone now or say "win next season or else." I'm not the one apologizing for a 3-8 season you dumb cunt. I'm the one pissed about it. You dont;e vcen give a shit. You are a fake fan and a joke. I'm the true fan

  • "Desmond Howard "endorsed" Rich Rodriguez."

Howard himself said that if Michigan doesn't start winning next season, dickrod is gone. Nice try moron

"he said that on the Michigan radio show and has full confidence in Rich Rod"

apparently he doesn't, otherwise he wou;dn't have thrown dickrod on the hot seat like he did

  • "The only reason "miles" had success last year is because those are Saban's Recruits"

I don't care. The bottom line is there are tons of head coaches who had immediate success in year one, so nothing less should be expected from dick fraudriguez

"Miles makes the stupidist calls on the field"

who led LSU to three straight 11 win seasons and top 5 finishes? Who beat sweater vest head on? Who led the Tigers to a national championship? Who is a MICHIGAN man?

    Answer: Les Miles

  • The fact that you disparage les miles and yet defend dick fraudriguez shows how pathetically dumb you are. Is your IQ 9?

"How dumb can you be?"-Paul Maguire in the 2007 Michigan-michigan State game

  • Damn straight I think Rich Rodriguez is better than Les Miles, You gotta look at the history, Les Miles took over a team at LSU that had a Nick Sabans recruits, Rich Rod took over West Virginia and turned them into a Powerhouse. Poole, if anyone's IQ was 9 they wouldn't even be able to type on the keyboard. Dumbfuck lol. Anyway, Rick Leach even endorsed Rodriguez today. Only the TRUE fans know what's to come. GO BLUE! IN ROD WE TRUE FANS TRUST!

  • "Les Miles took over a team at LSU that had a Nick Sabans recruits"

I don't care why he won in year one, the botom line is, he won. And ebsdies, dickrod inherited a ton of experience and talent from Carr, but he has us at 3-8. Dickrod=moron

"Rich Rod took over West Virginia and turned them into a Powerhouse"

so? WVU was in the Big Least. What he did at WVU doesn't eman jackshit.

  • Here's your problem, Lloyd Car didn't leave us much talent, our top 2 wide receivers went to the NFL best O-line to the nfl, and kraus graduated. best LB to the NFL, running back to the NFL and Henne to the NFL and Mallet transfers. What does that leave us? NO EXPERIENCE!

Rich Rodriguez is Legit. Nuff' said

  • No. Just no. Carr left us three talented, experienced, proven tailbakcs in Carlos Brown, Brandon Minor, and Kevin Grady; two ta;etned, experienced wide receivers in Greg Mathews and Junior Hemnigway; a fantastic tight end in returning starter Carson Butler; three experienced o-linemen in Mark orttman, Tim mcAvoy, and Stephen Schilling; and 7 of 11 staretrs returned from a defense that finished 24th in the nation in total defense and 23rd in scoring defense

  • The fact is, Michigan returned plenty of tlaented, experienced players on BOTH offense and defense this season, so it means nothing that we lost 5 players to the NFL. The talent is there, and dickrod and his assistants (especially Scott Shafer) have utterly failed to utilize it. hence, the 3-8 record.

Like i said: Dicjkrod has NO EXCUSE for us being so bad

    Fire dickrod

    Go Blue!

  • "Rick Leach even endorsed Rodriguez today"

good for him. his faith in dickrod will be proven to be laughable, just like everyother dickrod supporter

"Only the TRUE fans know what's to come"

No, only the true fans are disgusted with a 3-8 season and want the ehad coach to be held accountable.

"GO BLUE! IN ROD WE TRUE FANS TRUST!"

we'll see what happens. I hope he turns us into a big time winner, but I doubt it

    Go Blue!

  • Touchdown distances.

  • ON WISCONSIN

  • michigan lost im sad

  • LETS Go Michigan #4 Brandon Minor 4ever

  • I went to this game, most amazing thrill of my life!!!

  • uniforms on the most sacred day of the college football season.

  • cheeriopisser2- As a Nebraska fan (meaning I have no stakes in your rivalry), Fuckeyes fans really shouldn't talk until your program gives a formal apology for ruining the last two national championships for everyone watching them. Seriously I want an apology. You guys suck. Play in a real conference and then talk shit about other teams. That being said, Rich Rodriguez is a god awful football coach. If he would have beaten Pitt last year I wouldn't have had to see those ugly silver and red

  • 3:15 if richrod had a pat white type of QB doing that, it would have been a TD and michigan would beat teams like toledo and utah.

  • so you are saying that if Michigan had better football players, they would be good?

I'd say you are on to something there. You should bring that up at the next meeting.

  • hahahahaha

  • wht in the hell was width the toledo game? i mean god damm we played betta aginst a good wisconsin team....hopefully we will rise aginst penn state and make it 10 years in a row...

  • You in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, will decide the fate of this county's direction.

    Decide 08!!!!!

    Check out the video

  • dude, this is a sports video, not a political video. We know the future of the country is at stake (if Obama gets elected, we are FUCKED!), but we like to turn our minds to sports (especially football) that way we don't ahve to focus on the totalistarians in Washington that are trying to run our lives. I hope to Gos they don't take away our sports, but they probably will

  • IK poole dan i was so incredibly pissed off when they scored!!! i have nothing against michigan, and in fact i was rooting for them to beat illinois. I CANNOT BELIEVE WE LOST TO OHIO STATE!!!!!!!!!! anyways good luck UM, us wiscobadger fans are gonna need a LOT of luck

  • i live here in adrian,mi where threet went to school. he sucked then and he does now.......GO BLUE! FUCK THREET

  • its great to be a michigan wolverine....

  • where the fuck was that game today

  • I was there. :D

place was poppin.. I too was going to leave at half.

  • amazing game and comeback and great high quality GO BLUE!!!!

  • yeah i dont know why bekum didnt play either..

anyways i sure as hell hope we beat ohio state!! i hate them just as much as any UM fan

  • the last time Wisconsin played Ohio State at camp Randall, they won a terrific 17-10 game over unbeaten, NO.3 ranled OSU to snap the Buckeyes 19 game winning streak. i so hope Wisky works more magic this saturday at camp Randall. I can't stand Ohio State.

    Go Blue!

  • haha yessir.. adn no one thought wisc. could lose to UM last game so i hope the fans at Randall will help the badgers pull out a win!

i as well just CANNOT stand them buckeyes or USC.. always overrated!!!

  • Goshdammit. Does wisconsin ahve a defense? What happened to that defense that was 5th nationally in 2006? Beilema neeeds to get his act together. Ohio State is the ebst team in the Big Ten, but c'mon, giving up a 12 play 80 yard drive anchored by a true freshmen QB is prettty pathetic.

I hope you guys recover. I've got nothing against Wisky.

  • in all fairness, i'd say he does alot with what he has. Check out wisconsins recruiting rankings for the last couple of years, not even in the top of the big 10, forget nationally.

  • Are you shocked that your shitty football team has since lost to Toledo and that Ohio State beat Wisconsin and Purdue in road games with your quarterback?

    You shouldn't be.

    GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Purdue being a home game.

  • the same QB that couldnt put in a single offensive touchdown against Purdue?

  • The same one who didn't lose to Toledo.

    My god you guys suck.

  • Michigan is 19-5-1 against SEC teams(7-0) in the last seven

Ohio State is 7-10-2 against SEC teams(0-7) in the last seven

  • Unfortunate for Michigan they play most of their games in the Big Ten.

    Sorry fella.

  • The Big Ten is actually not that good of a conference, but it is much better then the Big East. northwestern is clear cut proof that the spread option offense which DickRod runs doesn't work in the Big ten. DickRod will be gone after the 2009 season, and then we can hire an in house coach like Cam Cameron or Brady hoke who will make us an 8 or 9 win team again

    Go Blue!

  • Big Ten is not as good as the SEC, Michigan can't win in the Big Ten...hope you can draw a conclusion from that.

Surely you realize Dickrod's spread is in no way similiar to that of Northwestern's offense. Purdue runs a "spread" as well. Ohio state ran a "spread" with Troy Smith. None of which are similiar to Dickrod's.

Most sportswriters are putting the Pac 10 with the Big East this year...and the ACC is below both of them. That would leave Big 10 #3.

  • Atleast we can actually score a touchdown on pennstate, and if the BigTen is not as good as the SEC then why is michigan 8-0 in the last 8 meetings...or is it just OSU who cant beat the SEC

  • it's amazing isn't it first time in 31 years we've sucked. i mean we have the highest winning percentage in the history of college football spanning 100 years. i guess we've conditioned everyone to expect greatness every year that when we have on bad year we're such a joke of a program. give me a break. we're in a transition period.

  • no. god forbid after 31 straight winning seasons we have one bad one. it makes sense that people would jump all over us. i guess all the losing seasons that ohio state has had in history doesn't matter. i mean even tressel in his tenure had a couple mediocre seasons. michigan has had only 6 in their history spanning over 100 years. but it is ok for every other program to dip and climb back. but when we do, we're a joke of a program.

  • ur exactly right....

  • shows UM has some great fans, but they are also classy as well

plus im only 14 so to not have 100,000 people jeering at me was great haha

  • wow i came all the way from wisconsin to see this game knowing the badgers were overrated. little did i know they were THAT overrated!! i appologize to UM fans but u guys are just pitiful, but clearly not as bad as my badgers haha. me and my dad had a premonition if UM did anything what-so-ever in their first 3 drives of the 2nd half wisc. would be in trouble.. turns out they were in HUGE trouble. But i thank all MU fans for not being all up in our faces after the game

  • I admit: we looked like shit. I think in part we earned this victory, but in bigger part, you guys gave the game to us. Its obvious our offense is an abomination. But hopefully that spurt of 3 TD's in 12 minutes will turn into a trend. I don't udnerstand why beleima wasn't playing Beckum. He looked fine to me! Beliema coahced a very poor game

BTW, PLEASE beat Ohio State this saturday!
