Some of my favs are Steve Madden, Nine West, Aldo, and of course the department stores (Macy's, Nordstroms, etc). That is assuming your shoe size is a standard size. If your size is above a 10 (which is the biggest size most stores carry), I've heard Bakers has larger sizes.

@GoldenQueen100 People are going to stare. It can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. It takes a lot of confidence to be tall and wear heels. It attracts a lot of attention, and sometimes all that attention can feel uncomfortable. You just have to be confident and KNOW you're sexy.

I love my height too. I'm 5'11", plus size and stick out. I get tired of people thinking I play basketball and run track. When I worked in Japan I understood why I got the stares and questions but here in the USA it gets on my nerves. I wear 4" heels on a regular so it makes me really stand out. Oh and I don't even have dressy flats, lol, if you date me it's going to be heels all the way. I hate being in the back as well

One of my good friends is 6ft without shoes; her husband is about 5'9" and people are always making silly comments about her not wearing heels. I can relate to this video I'm 5'10 and I'm 16 years old I have a friend thats 5'9 5'10ish shes 15. My dad is 6'6 but my mom is short. I hate it when ppl that see me everyday be like OMG your sooo TALL Your like 7 feet.

To me 5`10 (178 cm) is not that tall. Im Finnish and we are quite tall here. Im 185 cm (6' 1) man and it`s almost the average height for men here.

@caramelsweety3 Yeah. Don't try to come between me and my heels. My hubby-to-be is 6' tall, so he's taller than me in flats but shorter than me in heels. But luckily he is confident enough not to care if I'm a few inches taller than him.

@AyannaSunshine I'm so glad you can relate!!! As far as where to get heels... I don't even know where to start! There are so many awesome places. Some of my favs are Steve Madden, Nine West, Aldo, and of course the department stores (Macy's, Nordstroms, etc). That is assuming your shoe size is a standard size. If your size is above a 10 (which is the biggest size most stores carry), I've heard Bakers has larger sizes.

hmmm i always wished i were taller, i am 5'7''. my little sister who is only 12 is already 5'11, and she is still growing! my mum is really short (5'0) but my dad is 6'4, my stepmum however is 5'10, that's why i suppose my sis is so tall, and my little brothers are both over 6'2 now! i find it very attractive when a woman is tall. here in the Netherlands, many many women (and men) are so tall, i feel tiny! i love this video!

I find this video funny when I was only 11 years old I was about 6 feet 1 inches or 6 feet two inches and that was barefoot I'm thinking about if I should wear heels in the future I would like to but I don't want to look too tall but I know it's about if I feel comfortable which I would in heels but would feel uncomfortable if people were to keep staring at me... I just don't know

@GoldenQueen100 People are going to stare. It can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. It takes a lot of confidence to be tall and wear heels. It attracts a lot of attention, and sometimes all that attention can feel uncomfortable. You just have to be confident and KNOW you're sexy.
I TOTALLY think you should wear heels. They make you feel (and look) so sexy, no matter your height!

I love my height too. I'm 5'11", plus size and stick out. I get tired of people thinking I play basketball and run track. When I worked in Japan I understood why I got the stares and questions but here in the USA it gets on my nerves. I wear 4" heels on a regular so it makes me really stand out. Oh and I don't even have dressy flats, lol, if you date me it's going to be heels all the way. I hate being in the back as well

I don't have dressy flats either. I have a hard time paying full price for a cute pair of flats. I just don't get as excited about flats as I do about pumps. Even though I acknowlege that I need flats, I hate spending money on them when there's a hot pair of pumps calling my name! LOL

@LoveRaquelJ Yes Yes Yes! Me too. I was always self consious about my height growing up. Especially in middle/high school when I was taller than EVERYONE in my grade (boys and girls). Now, my long legs are one of my favorite features. I feel like I can conquor the world in shorts/dress and cute pumps. LOL
Oh yeah... and I cant believe I forgot the mention the Baskeball thing. UGH! I get that all the time and I am soooo un-atheletic.

Girlfriend, your hair is fierce!! My 12 yr old daughter is 5,7. Almost every single day someone ask if she plays basketball. She (we) are sooooo tired of that question. When she tells people no, she plays golf, they are like...(crickets)... oh. I~m only 5,5, but I feel you.

Im guilty of asking how tall a person is but I alwasy say something before I ask the question. I tell my tall friends to get in front if Im doing a silly photo. Im 5'1 1/2 so I know how you feel. I think women of all heights should wear heels.

@dafriscokid It's ok to ask a person how tall if they're your friend or something. But going up to random people and asking is a no-no unless you can trick them into thinking it's a compliment.

Good tips. I have a few tall, single friends, 5'9" - 5'11" who feel the same way. One of my good friends is 6ft without shoes; her husband is about 5'9" and people are always making silly comments about her not wearing heels. If her husband does not mind, I do not get why so many others feel the need to comment.

@MrandMrsT Right! I think all women should be able to wear heels. They look just as sexy on a 6' woman as they do on a 5' woman. Seriously. I'm not going to punish myself for being tall. My fiancee is 6', so I'm taller than him in most of my heels. But he doesn't mind, so why should I? Well... even if he did mind, that would be his problem. Not mine.
