Good video Blog! Not many investors like to talk about Potash as an investment. I did not know that Jordan has Potash in their ground. I was surprise because I was born there.
@modawoud- Mo, Add Canada and Ethiopia to that list. The bottom line is desertification is a major, major worldwide problem. We have to have potash to replenish the soil because we do NOT crop rotate anymore! Not crop rotating is very, very dangerous but that's what modern agriculture/farming has turned into. There are now bacteria that are growing resistant to the normal pesticides and farmers who live and work around these crops are getting sick and normal antiobiotics don't work on them!
Your getting good at speculation but I'm surprised you didnt reference inflation into the argument.
Potash has been one of the only agro companies that has done well lately. MOS has gotten hammered until recently along with other agro based ETF's but long term anything in the food producing industry should do fine as long as they have hard assets.
