• There will be alot more good looking adults if people had the money like celebrities to fix what they think is wrong with their body to meet social standard of beauty.

• Chingy thought it was a pretty big deal...only one phone call away...

• @kateclay100

i agree with u. but don't forget no matter wich colour we all can be beautiful or just not..

• Comment removed

• what cutie!! And yes, she is hot now!

• She, like most stars, have had alot of plastic surgery. Skin lightened, nose job and teeth fixed. The only thing real on her is her hair. People on these sites are so shallow..I've heard that she could be a role model...why? You said nothing about her character, only because she looks good that she can be a role model...You (the parents) need to be your own childrens role models...crazy....She's still would've been cute, without all the plastic surgery.

• @ptmich12 FYI Not everybody have plastic surgery these days i'll agree she has had her skin lighten and she haven't had plastic surgery but if she did get her teeth fixed thats nothing wrong.

• @williamssheilaj : You are contradicting yourself because having your skin lightened is plastic surgery. I really am not that concerned with what she had done. I just wanted to make a point that celebrities do have alot of plastic surgery done, more than most people. Any black person who gets his/her skin lightened are caught up with color issues and not proud of their natural black skin..

• THAT BITCH HAD A MUSTACHE

• @0920alvarez you are a piece of shit, she was just a kid, and besides she's sexy now. i bet you look like shit.

• @0920alvarez omg...that is evil...lol

• never knew she would look so hot as an adult

• @kateclay100 I don't think anyone ever considered Paris Hilton pretty, just rich @ least I hope to God so lol

• She Talks So Intelliqent ! i Love Rudy...She's so Cute !

• What year was this interview recorded?

• @consolate1 September 18, 1987

• @Eddie62070 lol on my birthday XD

• Keshia Knight Pulliam plays the youngest family member of the cosby show and the movies. Of the last dragon and polly ana also beauty shop with Queen Latifah and Tyler,s Perry the house of payne she was born in 1979 New Jersey

• Well I have always thought that rudy was hot even as a child......I don't think there is anything wrong with me thinking she was hot as a child especially since she is like four years older than me!!!!!

• @bc2358 Nothing about her is 'HOT' She's a child. Can't people make comments about her without commenting about looks?

• @bc2358 What you are attracted to children?

• Wow! This is trippy! KKP and I are the same age -- and it's funny. It's like looking at how I probably was back then. I wanted to be an actor and a doctor and a bus driver all at the same time. She wanted to be an actress, a doctor and a pilot!

• shee di frow up to b a great actress~!! even tho she alredy was 1 on the cosby show. I watch her every morning at 7. she seemes nerrvus talking cuz on the cossby she speaks up. she isz relly great! and cuz she is mor comforttables with the res of da casts

• Punyetang babae na ito, sana namatay siya. Puking-kiking ina mo, Keisha. Hinayupak. Patay ka na. Nababanas ako sa iyo.

• i though is was so funny how she sounded like she had a cold

• @yardape99

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..good one

• @yardape99 nasty perv. That's why Keisha dont want you.

• @yardape99 hahahhahaha well played sir.

• @bc2358 thats for sure

• geez she's barely reconizable. u need to see how she looks now

• I love how she ignores 'how are you gonna be a doctor and an actress at the same time" question. adorable.

• thegov08,

About the actress-and-doctor thing...yeah, I know, that was very cute. ^_^

("I want to be an actress, still...a doctor..."

"How are you gonna do both of those at the same time?"

"And if I have time, I'd like to be a pilot."

[Perfect. Totally avoids the question. ^__^])

• True! she's one of the rare child stars that end up being a good looking adult. Cute child stars always make ugly adults for some reason.

• Rudy is my favourite character in the Cosby Show. And is there anyone in the world more beautiful than her? I doubt it.

• She was the first child at that age to receive an emmy award, she's amazing and you can tell that she is an intelligent young girl

• Laurie,

Oh, thank you for mentioning about her being the first child to receive an Emmy at that age. I didn't know about that. Good point.

(I know, you can really tell she was an intelligent 6-year-old. That interviewer's intelligence level, I'm not so sure about. Didn't even know what "precocious" means or that it doesn't really mean "bratty". Oh, well. Keshia's intelligence and charm made up for the dumb [or maybe just under-educated^_~] reviewer's lack thereof. ^_~)

• She's so adorable! Love Keshia!!

• that lady is like "yeah she keeps talking and talking and talking"

• She was adorable. Now she has roles that involve her portraying herself as a promiscuous black female or involves her bringing a prostitute...why not play a role of a hard working mother making ends me in a respective way without being overly dominant but just doing it right?

• where are these roles?

have you written a script about this kind of black woman?

are you looking to cast keisha for the part?

• Twittergirl,

Well, I liked your post even if some people didn't. The roles she plays now are okay but I would love to see her in a nice motherly role as you suggest too. Maybe something kind of like the role of Clair on The Cosby Show (not *just like* that, of course, because that's already been done, but *sort of* like that). Maybe when she's a little older she will get to play a (kind but firm) mom. I would really enjoy seeing that.

Go Keshia ^_^

• i think she was the best and she is a good acter and thats the best part no body can say any thing bad abount er she is good as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i love you rudy you are the best so keep up that good work

• i wish they never stopped the cosby show.

they ruined our pride. hope it will continue again.

• Anyway, I ALWAYS thought that the then-6-year-old Keshia did a great job for her age, and a pretty good job for ANY age. I never disputed that, I never said that she didn't do a good job...OF COURSE she was only 6 and was doing great for that age!!! I never said or suggested otherwise!

And it's neither fair nor necessary to berate or criticize someone for *supposed* comments which he/she never even made.

Sorry for being so long-winded. Everyone please have a wonderful day! ^_^

• I think that probably Keshia (not "Keisha") already did know, even at age 6, that having a truly "photographic memory" and getting every word of your lines right aren't necessarily the exact same thing. But even if maybe she didn't completely know that (at age 6!), so what? I wasn't criticizing her, I was only *wondering how much she knew, that's all*. (At least two [loud, wrong] people thought I was criticizing her, AND at least one of THEM didn't know exactly what "photgraphic memory" meant!)

• House of Payne and Meet the Browns (also from Tyler Perry) are both cute shows, but I think the Cosby Show, even though (or partly because) it's older, is even cuter! ^_^

Go Keshia (in any show! ^_^).

^_^

• I apologize once again, this time for repeatedly spelling her name wrong! (Sorry, Keshia. Not "Keisha". A lot of people have that spelling, which fact temporarily mixed me up. Ooops!!!)

By the way, lilkunta...my reply to Smithworks2's post was decidedly NOT "loud and wrong"; it was gentle and quiet. In that particular instance, I'm afraid YOU turned out to be the one who was being "loud and wrong". (Not about HOP, but about the post to which you were replying [mine].)

• Comment removed

• To everyone: Sorry for the half-dozen posts in a row from me, this time. I was replying to 4 posts which I had not previously seen. (I do think that even if I am long-winded, SOME people understand SOME of what I say. However, I do apologize for any inconvenience caused by my long-windedness!)

The beautiful and talented Phylicia Rashad recently starred in a TV production of the play A Raisin in the Sun. Audra McDonald (from the Annie movie remake) was in it too. (See, I know who's in what.)

• Honey u dont need to apologise all the time........

• To maryray10: Yeah, I know. (Thank you for being nice and polite about it. Unlike some people. ^_~) I kind of realized that (and also that I probably did go on and on too much...what was it, like 8 posts in a row all from me? @__@) but only AFTER I'd already posted all that, and then I decided to just let it stand anyway as a record of what my view was. (I got a bit defensive because I was being attacked. Oh, well. Occasionally that happens! ^_~)

Anyway, thank you. ^_^

=^__^=

• @ Kitty, u r welcome (smiling)

• I don't really know, lilkunta, why you and ukevine1 both felt the need to tell me "She was only 6!" about Keisha. I know how old she was at the time, I have thought for YEARS that she was talented for that age, I STILL think so, and anyway it was not Keisha that I had any problem with. Keisha did a great job for her age...actually, a pretty good job for ANY age. My complaints were about ukevine1 and about Keisha's interviewer, neither of whom was only 6. ^_~ Pay more attention before you post?

• Smithworks2 said "And now she works for Tyler Perry, on House of Pain", not "she is on House of Pain". The "she works for" part of the post was a "she does", not a "she is". I was replying to the "she is" part of the post, the "beautiful and talented" part. If I'd been referring to the HOP part, I would've said, "Yes, she does" and "so do they", not "yes, she is" and "so are they". Small difference, I know, but grammatically significant!

• imagine if she would have never relaxed her hair...

• i want as much hair as her

• lol she is soooo sugar ..... i craying hahhaha

• she's so smart lol

• damn she ganga young here lol!

• i think everyone was amazed by how much she grew! she was such a cutie! she still is but....

• OMG she is soooooo cute!! <3

• sweet!

• Listen, the reason is: She left huge city life and went to school "in the woods" as she said it in one of her interviews. Also, the world must say kudos to whoever took care of her and brought her up this way. A rare inspiration. Right now, she talks really formal, although she does show that she can perfectly do the usual lingo of my African American sisters. A rare gem and pearl of inspiration.

• What ever happened to the woman interviewing her?

• tanya: who is the lady interviewing her? since ebony/jet are Chicago mags, is that a chicago journalist from the 80s? I dont recognise her .

• If memory serves me correctly she is from the Ebony/Jet talk show, I think it used to come on Sundays in the 80's.

• Sorry, I don't recall her name.

• I did some searching and the show was called the Ebony Jet Showcase. The young lady interviewing Keisha is Debra Crable.

• tanya : I figured it was a local show. I'd never heard of the show or the journalist.

So is Debra retires or still on tv "in the chi " ?

• I sent you some info about her to your inbox

• lol. Yea. She grew up to be so Hot and Look what happened to Raven

• That little girl had no Idea how hot she was gonna be when she grew up LOL.

• youngjoe: What the hell do u mean by that? Keisha/Raven are both not on drugs, successful, respectful, & great roles models for young girls of colour worldwide. Keisha went further & is college eduacted, she grad from Spellman.

• Comment removed

• young joe: U saud "and look what happened to Rave " . This sounds negative to me. In what way did u mean it ?

• lilkunta: Raven gained a little more weight. I was comparing their bodies.

• Little did we know that she was going to grow up to be so HOT!

• she is soooo pretty!!

• i just love her...and the main reason is because she is in no way stuck up...and she does not act like she's 7 going on 27...like alot of the child stars today do...not that I'm putting them down its just that you will see a 7 or 8 year old talking like shes above everyone else or like a adult anyone know what i mean?

• she was too cute!!

• AH HA, her lil brother got assed out

• to all who have written in the past months about keisha knight pullman : she is not a burnt out actress she is in fact a graduate of college and has a current role in house of payne which is a very popular t.v. show

• and she's in the movie "Madea Goes to Jail" which will come out next month I believe!

• yep..she played a prostitute

• she's so tiny in person!

• Does anyone have the interview that Ebony did with Cindy Birdsong?

• Tragic?? I think not! Keisha is a real great actress and a real role model...where have you been under a rock?

• she is so cute

• Shes a college graduate and still an actress. You get an F for the day for that comment.

• I believe she still makes more than you do, that's if you do anything. And how do you know about low budget films, are you a producer or in the show business, nah!

• Its irrelevant what I do since 99% of the people who judge artists arent artistic, at least at the craft theyre critiquing.

• where you get that idea from. She now plays on Tyler Perry "House of Payne" I don't see where you coming from with that prediction.

• what are you guys talking about she's still acting she did that movie with queen latifa and she filming another now

• low budge b movies, who gives a rip!

• what was the name? i love queen latifa ♥♥☺☺

• beauty shop her character was darnelle..

• Man I was in luv with her being the same age Im still feeling her seen her on House of Payne with BUD

• I didn't realize that Calvin was Bud, I Knew he looked familiar.

• The guy (Lance Gross)that plays Calvin is not Bud. The guy that played Bud on the Cosby Show name is Deon Richmond.

• she seems pretty precocious to me

• She has remained grounded throughout her entire career. She even made sure to graduate fom college and get a degree! What a lovely woman she's grown into. I enjoy her in everything she's been in.... I just wish she hadn't "reintroduced" herself in that wack Chingy video. Ughh!

• I guess "precocious" must've gotten a reputation for supposedly meaning sort of cutesy, bratty, pretending-to-be-clever, etc., because *some* supposedly-precocious kids *do* sometimes *act like that*...*if* they're given the opportunity to get too full of themselves about their own precociousness. I'm glad that Keshia at age 6 was *not* like *that*...but I think that she *was* precocious...which basically means being skilled/talented/etc., early on/at an early age. But she was nice about it. ^_^

• Speaking of definitions...it sounds like the interviewer probably doesn't know what "precocious" means (it *doesn't* mean bratty or rude...or at least it doesn't *have to*...it *usually* means *gifted* and it *can occasionally* mean showing off about it, but that's *not the true* meaning...but the

interviewer said, "She's not precocious at all, she's an absolute delight" [uh...oookay ^_~].)

(By the way, no, I am *not* really picking the people apart...I just *like words*! ^_^)

^_^

• I was thinking the same thing. It doesn't take very long to open a dictionary, especially when you're filming for television.

• To southfieldmo: Yeah, exactly...I thought it was funny, but kind of ignorance-revealing, how the interviewer apparently doesn't know what "precocious" means! ^_~ (I'm going to assume that why she didn't look it up was because she didn't realize that she didn't know. ^_~ It always kind of...amuses, entertains and slightly annoys me, all at the same time, how *somehow* a lot of television interviewers/reporters/etc. reveal ignorance of a level that I'd be embarrassed to reveal on TV.)
• Indeed. She probably felt sure she was using it correctly...But like my teachers always told us: When in doubt, crack open a dictionary.

• Well, if she felt sure she was right

(which is what I too suspect she probably

felt), then the problem was that she

*wasn't* in doubt (even though she

*should've* been...if only she knew ^_~).

^_~

• No she was really really sure! LoL

• To RoxStare: I know. ^_~ Her problem

apparently was that (unfortunately ^_~)

she *wasn't* in any doubt. ^_~

(Ignorance is bliss, so they say...^_~)

=^__~=

• My mom observed years ago that several writers in one newspaper kept using "androgynous" incorrectly...it seems that somebody used it to refer to Peter Pan, and then everyone else thought that it meant "sprightly" or "lively" or "cute" or something...anyway, they kept using it incorrectly for a while and then they all stopped...so, my mom deduced that *probably* somebody who actually *knew* what the word meant sent out a memo saying, don't use it if that's not what you mean by it. ^_~
• Anyway, ukevine1, since *you* set out to "correct" *me* without really knowing the actual definition of the term yourself...I'd say that it was you, not I, who behaved like Dan Quayle...next time could you save us all a lot of trouble and just simply *look up the definition* BEFORE you post? (And, yes,

SOME people who memorize things VERY quickly do indeed have photographic memories...however, being *able to commit something to memory relatively quickly* is simply having a *quite good* memory.)

• Anyway being a very quick study and nearly word perfect is BRILLIANT for that age, I NEVER said or implied that it was not. I'm saying *only* that it does not *necessarily* mean that a person has a *photographic memory* (which does *not* mean being able to

commit something to memory *relatively* quickly and reproduce/recite/repeat it afterward...*most actors* are expected to do *that* although not always as young as 6!).

(For instance, my memory's *good* but it's not exactly *photographic*.)

• She talked about the man on TV who presumably *did* have a photographic memory, then she kind of changed the subject and went to taking about whether she herself is word perfect with her script or not...and I *think* she meant after she had looked at it for at least a few minutes, not just a *second or two*. She did not exactly ever claim that she herself has a true photographic memory. She *did* let us know that she's a quick study and *nearly* word perfect (not *necessarily* photographic).

• And now sh eworks for Tyler Perry, on "House of Pain" Tune in people!!!! She's beautiful and talented still to this day.

• To Smithworks2: Yes, she is. ^_^ So are a lot of her co-stars from the Cosby Show (for instance Phylicia Rashad who played her mom ^_^).

=^____^=

• kitty: more crap from you. Loud and WRONG . The only person from TCS on HOP is Keisha. Keisha's HOP character Miranda's mother IS NOT Phylicia Rashad, it is Valarie Pettiford ( from 1/2 & 1/2 ).

Phylicia Rashad was on Everybody Hates Chris and the cable USA show Psych.

• To lilkunta (sigh): You misunderstood. That was NOT "more crap from me" and it was NOT "loud and wrong" (the other things I said were not crap or wrong either, by the way, and I was being loud only because somebody else was!). I did NOT state that Phylicia Rashad had been on HOP or that any Cosby star besides Keisha had been on HOP. I was talking/writing about the LAST sentence of Smithworks2's post..."she's beautiful and talented still to this day". I didn't even mention HOP. You just assumed.

• Anyway, ukevine1, you did not understand what I said *and* you probably didn't *quite* get all of what Keshia said either.

What Keshia was talking about *mainly* is just being *very good at learning her lines*, which is possible *without* a photographic memory. (Unless she *does* have a true photographic memory, she could *not* glance at her script for one second and get every word right...she would have to *deliberately memorize* which is what I think she most likely did...and was good at it.)

• kitty: no 1 understands what your saying bc you're longwinded. Did Keisha say she has a photographic memory? No. She clearly stated that bc she was growing up TCS was giving her more line. The story she shared was just that, a story!

YOU YOU YOU r the 1 going way overboard & saying 2 much in your 13 posts of over analysation about whether she is good @ memorising or has a photographic memory or is a quick study.

GOODNESS !

• To lilkunta: I'm aware that Keisha did not say that she had a photographic memory, she basically said that she was getting good at learning lines and that it was ALMOST LIKE having a photographic memory. (I do think that she was talking not JUST about getting older but also about being what is called a quick study. Anyway I was not mad at Keisha, SHE did not state that being a quick study and having a photographic memory were the same thing, ukevine1 was who made that claim.)

• Anyway, it is actually *not possible to tell from this video* whether Keshia *really* has a photographic memory or is *just a very quick study* (theater talk for being very good at quickly learning one's lines). (Actually I'd say that because she next says about how sometimes she switches things around a bit and only gets them *almost* just right, she either only has a *partially* photographic memory or is really just a quick study which is a whole different thing.

^_^

• kitty : She is 6! Why the harrasement. Anyways this was 20yrs ago so STOP IT.

• To lilkunta: I was replying to someone who was harassing me, I was not trying to harass the person or anyone else, and my replies were 7 months ago, thank you, so please, YOU stop it. I already stopped it. Thanks.

• I'm sorry but you are a nerd of the highest order. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

• thegov08,

Why, thank you. ^_~ (Even if you didn't mean it as exactly a compliment, I can still take it as one anyway if I want to. ^_~). I like being a nerd. (To the tune of the Flower Drum Song song about "I adore being a girl"..."I enjoy being a nerd". ^__^)

I have (mostly) enjoyed posting at this video, except for replying to two posters who basically attacked me for being a nerd. You didn't attack me, so I have nothing against you.

Proud To Be A Nerd ^__^

• Continuing...

I can't tell for sure whether or not Keshia (at age 6) knew what a photographic memory is, but you *certainly* don't. Having a *photographic memory* means being able to instantly see/recall the whole page as though one's mind had taken a photograph of it. Being able to "commit anything to memory relatively quickly" is possible for lots of people who DON'T have photographic memories. What Keshia is *primarily* describing is being a quick study, being word perfect, etc.

^_^

• I feel like saying, did Keshia realize at this age that being very good at memorizing one's lines *isn't actually the same thing as* having a photographic memory? ^_~ (I have a fairly good memory for things I see, *and* I can memorize fairly well, but *true photographic memory* is more than that and pretty rare [but I *think* that really, Keshia *mostly* just meant that she was *trying* to do something *sort of like* having a photographic memory! ^_^].)

^_^

• SHE WAS 6!, Only 6! Besides, memory, memorize; do you see a corelation there? To memorize is to commit to memory, so, she's right. If you can commit anything to memory relatively quickly, & retain it so that you can duplicate, recite, describe or repeat it, you have PHOTOGRAPHIC memory, even if it's written scripts.

You sound like Dan Quale correcting a 3rd grader on how to spell potato by making him add an "E" to it; WRONG! We know what that did to his rep not to mention his political career.

• First of all, I'm very sorry for the misunderstanding. I like her A LOT and I was really just making a JOKE. Second of all, though, you went way overboard in your defense of someone who was not even being attacked...and you were kind of rude. Third of all...you have missed the point. Of COURSE she MEMORIZED, I never said she did not. And whether a person has "photographic memory" has nothing to do with whether the material is a written script or a photograph or what. I'll continue this in a bit.

• "If you can commit anything to memory relatively quickly, & retain it so that you can duplicate, recite, describe or repeat it, you have a PHOTOGRAPHIC memory"...well, you just proved that you don't REALLY know what the term "photographic memory" means.

Many thousands of people who DON'T have photographic memories can do what you just described...and whether the material is *written* or not has *nothing to do with it*...the difference is between a *photographic* memory or just a *good* memory.

• Had a crush on her when I was a child, always watched the Cosby Show. Well not that I don't have a crush anymore, she's fineee. Call meee. haha. Thanks for posting.

• Rudy is by far my favorite Huxtable!

• weird ass.

• i did not put this there. thats a bit freaky 0.0

• well first of all i know your reposing this...but i do wish it were true so i could die...maybe i will get lucky ha ha

• yuh ... she grew up and she fine as hell now but i feel like a pedafile lookin at her cuz when i hear her name i think of lil Rudy Huckstable

• khyree : Its spelled huxtable.

• I saw Keshia on the cover of JET recently and she is beautiful.:)

• ADORABLE!!!!! ♥ Rudy

• Not precocious at all?? Right.

• Do they have one with Raven-Symone...I LOVE RAVEN IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY!

• what gave it away...

ur youtube account?

• LMAO

• I love Raven too...and I was just thinking (reading this video's info) that *Raven* was the *real* youngest star of the show (but to be fair, I'll admit that Keshia was still the youngest when this interview was done! and Keshia made a few movies when she was a kid too [a version of Pollyanna and a version of A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court ^_^]...but she didn't stay as popular for as long as Raven! well, in a way she did but mostly just from the Cosby Show role!).

^_^

• The date of this video raven wasn't even born yet .... and keshia was the younget original cast memeber

• kitty: Raven wasnt the real youngest star. Rudy was & still is. Keisha was nom's for an Emmy. TCS was big , #1 yr after yr from 84-90. By the time Raven joined as Olivia TCS wasnt as popular.

I love Pollyanna!

After TCS Keisha moved to the Virgina country & went 2 a boarding school. Raven stayed acting, memba she was on Hangin W Cooper b4 her disney show.

• To lilkunta: Keisha and Raven were BOTH the true child stars of the show. There does not have to be a contest between them. I meant only that Raven's *the youngest*...she's younger than Keisha and she was on the Cosby Show at an even younger age. Yes, Rudy was probably the most popular Cosby Show child character ever, since her childhood years were when the show was at its height. But I was not talking popularity, I was talking *youngest*. You made some good points too, though.

• I look at this video and I am like oohh soo cute, then I look at her know and ooh I got to meet her!!!
