Gotta watch out for the Elliott Smith Cover Police, on constant patrol on YouTube. My guess is that, like most actual musicians would be flattered by a not half bad cover of one of his songs. I love Elliott's music,  but it's sad that it attacts so many OCD freaks.

thats so mean. i was sort of wary at first watching this to cause im sure hes not a fan, but then i just realized hes a regular guy who likes a song that elliott wrote. its a whole different category from someone whos a fan. hes just a casual listener and probly isnt meaning to do harm. i have no life writing this much about one dumb comment...
