Plenty guys like him in Chicago, but here we don't let 'em inside. They can 'preach' on the street for spare change, if they want to, but not in front of the club.
yeah right, this guy directly influenced Jimi Hendrix. Hendrix saw Glenn play behind the back and with his teeth in the 60s and took it directly from Glenn! so if anything, sir, you suck balls.
Carl, It's a fact that Glenn S. was founder of The James Gang: one of the best rock bands ever produced in the USA - he was a favorite of Clapton, who toured with him while in Cream, Glenn was voted one of the top 5 electric blues guitarists back in the day & was one of Hendrix's favoirites he played at Jimi's last birthday party The years have been hard, Glenn gave up a LOT of worldly things to seek The Lord & he is trying to warn a wicked generation to turn to Jesus before the wrath to come
I love Jesus and believe Glenn does as well but I cannot see how this is expanding the kingdom. When I look at People like Phil Keaggy or Daniel Lanois they set a more proper environment of mixing truth with music.
I saw him 40 years ago at I think it was Mentor Hullabaloo. I was only 15 and I thought he was a great guitar player then. I've since seen him at Hooples and he's still wonderful to listen to. He was preaching back then the same way he does now, absolutely no difference whatsoever. Glenn Schwartz is hardcore.
just saw him for the first time at beach land ball room and it was amazing he told some chick off and made her leave and got on his knees and was preaching throughout the show it was mind blowing for sure!
Thanks "lastdaysguitar" for the comment. Glenn and Gene Schwartz are 2 of the greats! and yes Glenn has preached to me too.

What a nut! I saw him with PG&E in late '68. Yes, he was an extraordinary guitarist.

Haha, he's hilarious. Last time I went to a show of his in the beachland he was yelling at some drunk girls in front to repent....

Sorry, but this doesn't do it for me at all. Not just the bizarre street preaching but the playing is nothing special.

Uh... Buddy Guy did those tricks way before Glenn, and Buddy got it from Guitar Slim.

@hannaks310 : Sorry, but it was T Bone Walker who did all that way back in the late 40s and early 50s. You were saying something about balls, sir?
