I wuss in a Drunk Driving accident. me & my Stepdad were goin to Lake Tahoe to see my mom & 2 brothers, my Stepdad pulled over to get signal to call my mom. so i got bored & put on my music really loud i couldnt hear anything. Thn all of a sudden, i see him telling me to get out of the car & i didnt listen & all i remember wuss an S.U.V crashed the back of my Stepdad's car & the S.U.V pushed my car into a tree & thts all i remember. i lost 40% of my memory & im happy to be alive.
Thank you for this video, It's really sad that people are so critical about the music when the message is very clear, not everyone dies from the stupid behavior of drunk driving, there are those that live, and usually it's the drunk with nothing wrong to him, but invariably the victims die or are maimed for life. Things like this happen way too often. I live in Louisiana, and unfortunately, the DUI/DWI rate here is stupid. Everyday on the news I hear of accidents where someone was driving drunk and the ones that cause the accident basically get a slap on the wrist and are scolded like a child, "Now don't drink and drive again, okay". Nothing will change unless people are willing to change their habits.
Both of my parents died when I was only 12 months old with my twin sister. Both of my parents died and me and my twin lived after getting hit by a drunk driver. I think night why did we make it and they didn't!

i used to drink n drive until one saturday night I skid into a parked car going 63MPH the impact made my car bounce off, lukily for me somehow i was able to steer my car away from oncoming traffic..the total damage was 3200$ but thats a cheap price taking in count it could of been my life my 3 friends aboard lifes n who ever lights where heading for my car wheni twisted the wheel, i was lucky enough to get a second chance so please dont drink and drive its not worth it at all...DUI at 17kills =(

Drunk driving doesn't only affect the victim, it affects their loved one's as well. My life was never the same, I was a little girl and no little girl should have to see the very graphic things I saw that night.

I feel so bad for Jacqueline. She must be in so much pain. I recently was in a nasty crash myself. Some stupid fuck was drinking and plowed right through a red light and totaled my car. I was pretty banged up. My left arm got broke and I had bleeding from the head. This happened on my 18th birthday BTW. I'm 26 now and I thank God everyday that I'm alive. Also to this day, I have not driven since because I still have nightmares about my accident.

That poor girl. A while back in life I received a DWI, I only had 4 beers...within the hour however. I blew a .12. I was mad then, however it did teach me something, it could have been much worse. I'm actually grateful that I got caught when I did, before it was too late for me, or someone else. Remember kids you may feel fine, but only a couple can put you over the limit. (.2 is felony, try applying for your dream job then. Oh and it's on your record for 10 years, no matter what you blow).

I was just in a serious car wreck Oct. 4. i was w 3friends and the driver was drunk and he was going like 83mph and we hit a culvert and flipped 6times and i flew out the back window and landed 10ft. away from the car!! Truly sad when someone killed by DUI. Problem is that many states are not strict enough to put them away. Often I have seen DUI repeats at times some of them have learned thier lessons. Sad part is when DUI killed the loved ones, does not matter the age could be anyone or you. If I am drunk, i get a cab go hotel or home. Forget my car until the next day. Save a life.
I've had 3 DUIs in the past. One of them I totalled out my car. I've passed out at the wheel before, and woke up before hitting another car head on while driving on the wrong side of the road. I've driven home many nights in total blackout, and to this day don't know how I got home.
I quit drinking and driving after my last DUI in 2003. Actually I don't even drink anymore.

In 12/06 I was hit by a drunk driver. I am now permanently disabled. I used to be able to work 5-6 days a week, 8+ hours per day. Now, maybe 2-8 hour days per week. Little if any chance of holding a job again because people don't want to hire a cripple. And the drunk? ALL CHARGES DISMISSED. Even though he failed the breath test. Even though he had NO LICENSE. And even though he, a drunk, was 19 years old in a state that has zero tolerance for underage drinking. There's your tax dollars at work!

I dont know anyone my age with DUI's and I am 25, so to say its 21 yr olds who have drunk accidents is really stupid. Age is not the problem. MADD lies about statistics and doesn't care about saving lives. They only care about money and publicity. Research into MADD a little and it's obvious. i agree dunk driving is wrong and kills many but let's not forget this is not the only cause of death related to motor vehicles. when an individual places himself or herself in a motor vehicle, an extreme risk is being taken regardless. are there not non alcohol related fatality accidents with motor vehicles? do animals only run out in front of drunk drivers? just my opinion. the risk is there drunk or not.

I feel so bad for Jacqueline. She must be in so much pain. I recently was in a nasty crash myself. Some stupid fuck was drinking and plowed right through a red light and totaled my car. I was pretty banged up. My left arm got broke and I had bleeding from the head. This happened on my 18th birthday BTW. I'm 26 now and I thank God everyday that I'm alive. Also to this day, I have not driven since because I still have nightmares about my accident.

I always have a back up buddy or some cash handy for a cab. please please never drive drunk or even buzzed. if it feels like u just took a benadryl or nighquil don't drive!.

Nobody seems to care about deaths caused by tired driving, reckless driving, ect. do they. When I drive after drinking 4 or more drinks, I drive like a saint. That poor girl. A while back in life I received a DWI, I only had 4 beers...within the hour however. I blew a .12. I was mad then, however it did teach me something, it could have been much worse. I'm actually grateful that I got caught when I did, before it was too late for me, or someone else. Remember kids you may feel fine, but only a couple can put you over the limit. (.2 is felony, try applying for your dream job then. Oh and it's on your record for 10 years, no matter what you blow).

my sister was hit by a drunk driver april 07 and she lost both her legs and has have brain damage. although the other person was found to be drunk driving, he was never given a ticket or charged. in fact he is suing us now for negligance that a teenager shouldnt be driving in the first place. talk about a fucked up world. drinking and driving ruins lives. it ruined hers.

I was just in a serious car wreck Oct. 4. i was w 3friends and the driver was drunk and he was going like 83mph and we hit a culvert and flipped 6times and i flew out the back window and landed 10ft. away from the car!! Truly sad when someone killed by DUI. Problem is that many states are not strict enough to put them away. Often I have seen DUI repeats at times some of them have learned thier lessons. Sad part is when DUI killed the loved ones, does not matter the age could be anyone or you. If I am drunk, i get a cab go hotel or home. Forget my car until the next day. Save a life.

I've had 3 DUIs in the past. One of them I totalled out my car. I've passed out at the wheel before, and woke up before hitting another car head on while driving on the wrong side of the road. I've driven home many nights in total blackout, and to this day don't know how I got home.
I quit drinking and driving after my last DUI in 2003. Actually I don't even drink anymore.
Thank you God for steering me home so many nights when I was not fit to drive. Thank you for saving me and others from me.

In 12/06 I was hit by a drunk driver. I am now permanently disabled. I used to be able to work 5-6 days a week, 8+ hours per day. Now, maybe 2-8 hour days per week. Little if any chance of holding a job again because people don't want to hire a cripple. And the drunk? ALL CHARGES DISMISSED. Even though he failed the breath test. Even though he had NO LICENSE. And even though he, a drunk, was 19 years old in a state that has zero tolerance for underage drinking. There's your tax dollars at work!

my cousin was on the sidewalk of a busy city when he saw a car running through a red light about 5 blocks away coming toward the street he was on and he saw a man in his car about to drive through the green light on his street when my cousin jumped out and stopped the car with the clean driver. he saved that persons life and he was rewarded with 3000 dollars
