no prep???? you need to get used to the exam format....and follow the reading strategies for the reading part, which is the hardest part.....(the time is limited) the more tests you do the better it is!!!!!!

Hi Folks:

I got a score of 8 in my IELTS speaking test. My overall score is 7.5 though.

However, I say," start reading novels" that will improve your vocab, and trust me its gonna create wonders for you. I went for my IELTS exam without any preparation, the only thing, which helped me is my vocabulary. So pls develop the habbit of reading to get a high score, and practise using those words with ur friends....

I guess he is not sure what "Aspect" means.examiner is asking same Q repeatedly but in different ways,. he replied "just because" which shows he is not really interested in Law?

I know some tips that can helps u a lot :D and these would be:watch a lot of movies in English,listen music,make friends in Internet and also buy a microphone so u can talk with them and at same practice ur English ;) that's what I usually do !I'm Brazilian by the way hehe

For the IELTS interview the examiner follows a script - a rubric - with a list of questions that have to be asked. Its not a 'conversation', its an opportunity for the examiner to assess a student's speaking ability based on their Fluency and Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range and Accuracy and Pronunciation.

Interesting to see the difference between these two ipass videos. Pedro seems a lot more nervous. Poor guy, I know how he feels! maybe he's not as familiar with the interview and doesn't really know what to expect. Anyway examples like this help.
