What a great song this is. Love it to bits. What became of Nick Watkinson? Is he still Scarborough based? Strikes me as a charismatic lead singer.....The guitar break is brilliant too. Best wishes to all......we are all now middle- aged but The Jags rocked!!

@theseizeband I've just seen this question as for some reason it was marked as spam, and I think if it had been Macca's bass Mike would be comfortably retired by now but he's a huge Beatles fan and I think modified it himself.

i saw the jags at toads place in New Haven in summer of 1980- It was really good. You ran thru your set with an encore and still we wanted more - so you started to play the set again !. Thanks and those hard to find videos of you are great !

NME had such huge influence and most people just followed like sheep. Thankfully we can at last listen to good pop and even admit it in public.

Shame it never got shown, would a been a rare appearance indeed for the Hofner Senator in a pop video. I have one, in blonde just like this it's a lovely guitar. Mine had the neck snapped off at the body when I got it, but easily repaired 20 years ago and still going strong.

I played the hell out of this album and still have the vinyl. Back of My Hand and Evening Standards got most of the play at pink tie, college New Wave parties...along with The Romantics, What I Like About You. I've never seen this video until now. Very rare!
