  • Another example of why Hank will never be forgotten. Still the Greatest

  • Love it.

  • Love It!!!:)

  • I sing this song when I get in the car and drive somewhere. I don't know why. I never think of it any other time. It wasn't even one of my favorite Hank Williams songs.

  • I love how this song is so "in your face" and haha up yours.

  • Never heard it! Thanks for posting; Hank's the greatest!

  • Luke the drifter, at his best.

  • It's almost as if I am finding a new artist. Never heard this one before tonight. Thanks for the post.

  • Fantastic! Thanks for sharing!

  • damn, just when i think i have bought EVERY hank song ever...thanks for the post! and they write him off as just a drunk so often. well what drunk cranks out a gazillion songs in so few years? hank forever!!!

  • man, i thank you for this!

  • @LemurInBlack

..to LemurInBlack - Hank was a Man among Men you idiot.

He is singing to a woman, not a fag like yourself numbskull.

  • @LemurInBlack yoo idea what the ---- you are talking about

  • hank-is-the-greatest-all-time-he-is-still-nmber-one-in-our-home-here-in-nfld-canada-we-love-you-hank--reubin-and-jenny-

  • Hank unpluged. :)

  • why not kolfritz just cause yall lost your heritage dont mean we still aint jammin like that in the bayous speak for yourself

  • Those of you who've been saying stuff like "pop-country garbage" and stuff are right. Today's "country" is just pop with steel guitars and a southern accent. There will never be likes of masters like Hank ever again.

  • @Kolfritz

there are but trashville won't promote them because they are too country

  • Full memerbership to the Grand Ole Oprey in Heaven!! With other greats such as Faron Young and Patsy Cline!

  • as hank iii said fu*k the grand ole opry they all the time selling hanks music but cant put the man where he damn well deserves to be more than damn near all of them that came after him you know what the opry doesnt deserve to say the mans name if they cant do the white thing and honor the king

  • love his work without the cowboys or bands ect.

  • Hank can't be reinstated. The Opry takes it's own regulations very literally. In order to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry, a singer must appear regularly on the show. Since Hank is deceased, this rules him out for membership.

As far as I'm concerned, it would be disrespectful to reinstate him among the likes of all the pop-country garbage they have on the show now . Hank will always be bigger than the Opry anyways. While I'm at it, Happy 86th birthday Hank! 9-17-09

  • Well said, nothing to be added

  • @jpeanrkode u got it Pontiac...Old Hank IS bigger than the Opry...by, the way, did he ever make a bad song? Did he ever just dial one in?

  • Just plain ol' Hank with his guitar. Ain't no gettin' any better than this! Honest music for real ppl.

  • he doesn't want to be reinstated he's dead.

seriously tho who gives a fuck, his musics out there it doesn't matter if some ppl want to write his name somewhere

  • Country music at its best. But have to admit that there were others that did very good entertaining as well.Johnny Cash,Kitty Wells,Farron Young,Stonewall Jackson,Marty Robbins,Patsy Cline etc:Some new country voices are out there as well.I saw some video's get 2 million hits so it tell us something about the changes in music.Maybe we should get those people to reinstate Hank Williams because they have the influence to persuade their managers and producers to do it.

  • most these young singers are slaves to what their recording company tells them they have to be.

  • honest good music. not overproduced crap you hear today. : the rock radio stations still play 45 year old music from stones / beatles etc but country has totally abandoned the early singers. if its ten years old its "classic" on todays country stations.

  • @ringbolt9 There are 2 country stations here in Vegas... i have yet to hear a song older than 10 yrs on the radio... all the new country pop singers refer to the legends in their songs so they sound legit... but could care less if radio stations actually played them, its sad :(

  • You are the best in country music and always will be

  • Hank Sr.-- 4ever Untouchable as the all-time gr8

  • you took the words right of my mouth LOL! I say the same thing everytime I hear this bullshit they call country! they all sound like a bunch of long tail cats in a room full of rockin chairs LOL!

  • thats down right hilarious.... thanks for the laugh =)

  • true, I never thought of the cats and the rockin chairs! Very Clever!

  • thanks'!

  • truely amazing music and this sure beat the shit ass music of today. this real country music. your memory lives on in all us hank my friend.

  • my dad would play this music when i was a little boy i shure miss them both thanks alan for the post

  • HANK THE ONE AND ONLY

  • Hank was very talented...Hank, Jr. is ok but I like Hank III better.

  • Hank 3 picks up where Hank Sr left off

  • @hank3rox no hank iii doesn't pick up where his papaw left off!he has the voice andthe talent.but he cant seem to grow up and quit playing that punk "ass jack"crap he calls music.if he would concentrate on "country"music he could be one of the best.he has some really good stuff out,but he plays some crap too.and i am a big fon of his country music.

  • @pgray55 I'm no fan of Assjack either, so I concentrate on the country side of things. I respect his decision to go his own way though; as long as he keeps coming up with the country, I'm happy.

  • @pgray55 he always wanted to play in metal but he knew he had to pay for his child support and he would be successful in country. thank god he doesnt like his dads style though. he was really shitty in my opinion. its not like he pushes this metal shit on people though. he always plays it the last of the set and alot of people like you leave before it. its just what he always wanted to do and what alot of his young fans like

  • discovered this song today, already learned how to play and sing it! just perfect!

  • just another nice one by Hank

  • thanks for the great video; i never heard this one before now

  • Same here

  • Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have not heard this one by 'ol Hank. Must have been when they put out his "huge" box set years back.

    Classic Hank!!

  • Great stuff, AlanPaladin. I have this exact 45. Of course, I haven't played it in years as I just have a CD player. I guess most of these songs can be transferred to CDs. It sure brings back memories, when these songs were played on country radio. I wish the younger generation of country singers sang and recorded songs like these.

    Ken, Toronto

  • Thank You!

These do take me down memory lane!

    Simpler country Times..

    Hank Was So Talented.....

  • Hank is the greatest!!!!

  • This brings back memories.
