I still have an ‘audio’, the ‘silver’ and the ‘MDD’ models of G4 towers in service. The audio and silver serve as electronic test workstations and do a wonderful job. The MDD is my personal music creation system. I used it to compose and arrange my orchestrations, including the two pieces on my channel,... it works beautifully. These are really great computers, they do a great job... nice work Apple!

you can get a old mac and go get on the internet with it but if you try to get on the internet with a old pc it will be slow and none of the plugin wont work

but there is still good use for old pcs like you use them as a free nas

The PPC CPU's were far ahead of the Intel offerings at the time in terms of performance and capabilities, then IBM decided to focus on the server and super computer market and less so on consumer chips that were found in the Macs. Intel had a better roadmap for consumer level CPU's that Apple liked, so switced.

If you get the "Blue Screen of Death", that means you do not know how to use OS, Millennium was a disaster, but 95, 98, NT, and NT 5.0(Win2000) were very successful.

You may get the Blue Screen often because you have very little experience with Windows environment, Blue Screens are caused by (but not limited to) Wrong Drivers, Faulty Drivers, Unsupported hardware, unstable Software, Deleted system files, Corrupted files, Faulty Memory, Faulty HD, human stupidity, and Malicious software.

I own a 1999 iMac with a 350Mhz Toshiba processor, All in one, and it has an Airport card installed, but it's lost some were in the attic... can't install Max OS X on it, done all the updates, I think until 9.2 or .3
