I should have said nice video it was fun to watch and that a really nice tuna.
PS
I have caught 23 200 plus pound Tuna stand up style single speed reel and I can't count the 190 pounders and smaller. I am only 56 years old and a dinosaur, and I like showing the young guys how it's done. It's technique, you spread your legs like a linebacker and drop your ass and reel down until your rod is completely bent where you can feel the balancing point. It's like the compound bow affect. stand up
People except railing now. In the old school it was called sport fishing, there had to be sport about it so you fought the fish standing up ( west coast style). Railing is a way to use the weight of the boat against the fish. Add a two speed reel or (winch) and its hard to for a old school guy to find sport in it. Railing takes all the technique from the art of sport fishing, light line or heavy line. The captains love railing and so do the deck hands, it makes it a lot easy on them.
@41Hardcore you stand up to a tuna everyday for the next 10-15 days lets see how your back fares to a freshly hooked 100pound tuna. the mighty tuna is no joke sir
