If you break it down it's not complex at all, but it gives you that feel. The bass line is very simple. The drums are mostly just providing a rhythm, the guitar has a few more complex bits, but mostly is simplistic. The keyboard is actually just mimicking the sound of water. Then it has what sounds like a cowbell. And background vocals. But I'll tell lthat my body sure is dam well moving. I LOVE it!

You know, I did not appreciate this song until I saw this performance during a showing of 'Stop Making Sense'. I started to cry in the theatre. The way they performed this made me understand the profound lyrics.

I guess it also made me experience the power of true art.
