@VanHalenWorshiper Yeah, I just found a picture about the guitar pre-striping. It's all black, has a white pickguard (I guess) and already has the slanted pickup. I might do an updated version of this video.

the picture at 00:56 shows the "shark" fair warning guitar. therefore, that "frankenstrat" you're talking about is NOT his original.

@trunk102 I cannot follow you on this. The bubble is pointing at exactly the Frankenstrat. The Shark is way over to the left. And there is a Charvel Star to the right.

Yeah, It didn't look that bad... but, it was okay. Also the body isn't charvel, it's boogie bodies which were used by charvels. So you were right but left the main part out.

@sarg8 true, the see ya neck is a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and the headstock was shifted to the left a bit really ugly but i guess evh liked it

Yes it was a Charvel. In fact, he had a 1959 Strat, which he liked and its tailpiece made it to the Frankenstein.

You read his early interviews, he clearly says that.
