but Luca, if you are your age then they are going to look at you and think "hmm, and what sort of movie as you going to be making?" as you are at that difficult age! LOL! Its just a nature video about birds and bees. hehehe! Good video!
Hey luca great episode! most of my movies have a budget of 50$ or less, And the majority of it is spent on 2 large pizzas at the end of the shoot, lol, And Just asking, Are you guys planning to make a movie soon? I see you blog about how to make them, but I've never actually seen one of your movies.
lol i was sorta joking. but thanks for responding! that is a very good sign. it shows that you are doing a good job with your channel. i apreciate it.
The definition of a no-budget film is that the filmmaker just goes and films the movie regardless of how much money is available. When they run out of money they beg or wait for more. Both low budget and 'high' budget films are often studio affairs and therefore bound by the constraints of a budget. It is impossible to create a film without spending any money. Money will always be spent somewhere.
Very good advice - especially about investors, because that has a way of being a no-win situation. If it makes money you have to share it. If it loses you have ticked off investors that will try to sue you, and either way they will want to control your directorial vision all the way through the movie because they pull part of the pursestrings.
Well look at it this way, if they hate cabbage, then they wont eat it, when they actually get angry on set, they will also be hungry. And an angry actor won't cooperate with you and the crew. The actor also wont have energy if you don't feed them. Your best bet is to feed them well, and they will thank you with their acting abilities.
Just have the essential camera gear and if you have enough saved up than go for more extravagant things.
I guess I would fall under the category of "kids" and this is what is working for me at the moment. Also, my partner and I are both saving up money for more equipment all the time, for instance multiple cameras for different shots.
coolio! *_*

LIke cabbage cuz it's cheap. I was thinking if I give them something they hate I could et them to act angry better and it might work for the scene.

Good point. I'll feed the crew the cabbage and make hamburgers for the actors. Thanks!

"Kids" :
Have your parents provide food.
Pirate.Pirate.Pirate.
Your friends won't care if you pay them or not.
Just have the essential camera gear and if you have enough saved up than go for more extravagant things.

Have a dedicated camera man.
