  • Can you please tell me what is under the cap to protect it, and what was the bottle you showed us, and how do we use it?

  • I Wanted To See The En Of This & There's No End.

  • what is "splitting the tracks"?

  • @TheSassychick20 Using a razor to cut the weft (track) in half where it is sewn together. This will allow for a thinner weft (track) which creates more movement in the hair :)

  • @TheSassychick20 Splitting the tracks means....and is....the tracks of hair are doubled when sold. They are two long wefts of hair sewn together that can be separated and thus becomes two tracks of thinner hair, making your weave look a lot less bulky--like your own hair. I hope that helps! :-))

  • can i do thei method for a sew in?

  • @snette2010 Absolutely!

  • ...y didnt u use an undercap?

  • @um010 I don't know what you are referring to as undercap? Could you elaborate on that for me love? Thanks

  • Thanks so much for the very informative tutorial. It's awesome and it answered many of those nagging little issues, such as how to make the hair fall into a part more naturally. Please tell me where I can find Part 2, as I really want to see how the razored bob is done.

    ps. love this vid. lol

  • Lol, yeah. My girls were Jerkn & doing the reject before last summer hit. I thought this song was old, lol. And I'm in Kentucky..... go figure

    P.S. Thanks babe!

  • Im confused if the cap is on what's the point of putting the protector on the cap Just askin?

  • No problem. Well to be honest, some people are hell bent on using a cap. They are so used to it, they think it "HAS" to be used with a quickweave.

This was not the case however. This client has short natural hair and the cap provided a smooth base to work with.

    Hope this makes sense. :)

  • hi were can purchase the glue free solution.. i really like ur videos 2

  • Look in the info box to your left :)

  • this is very informational. Im going to try this/

  • No problem When you do, let me know your results or post a vid response.

  • If I were to do a quick weave with a cap, do I apply the grow protect solution to my hair before I put on the stocking cap or do I put it all around the cap?

  • Apply it to the cap.

  • one more question, what is the need of the hot razor and where did you purchase it from?

  • The hot razor can be purchased on our site or at y our local beauty supply. It is great for your natural hair because razoring can cause split ends and frizz. The heated razor seals the cuticle while cutting to prevent this. For weaves it does that same as well as glides thru the hair without tugging or pulling.

  • is that a striagh black nail color or it like a smoke grey? love this look and i will be purchasing the gro protectant.

  • Thanks! Oh, it's straight black polish.

  • May I ask what kind of hair is that the lady used?

  • thanx for this

  • NO prob!

  • This is fab! OH I LOVE YOu for making this video. My main concern is the stocking cap on her natural hair. Stocking caps are so drying to the hair and causes breakage as well as a receeding (sp) hairline. Would it be ok to use a satin skully instead?? YOu are great ! Also, considering her hair is covered and if she were to add to much glue and it goes through the cap will it cause breakage and how would she get the glue out??

  • she put a glue protectant under the stocking cap which keeps the hair from breaking off.

  • She has my glue-free quickweave so she doesn't have to worry about glue. The satin skully may be too silky, thus sliding off the head, but it may be worth a try. Let me know your results

  • Well I just got the quick weave done today and had the weave glued on the nylon cap (like regular). When it dried and shower cap removed ,I put the skully on first to protect my hair and (until I buy your protectant) then the wig Thanks! I didn't know that you can actually put the protectant on first and then the nylon cap as I thought the nylon cap alone would be drying and cut threw your hair regardless. That is good to know! Still wish you can come to the DC area ! lol

  • This is the BEST tutorial on "How to do a quick-weave" I have seen on You-Tube, yet!!!

  • i was just wondering do i braid my hair and put the cap on and put the gps over that ?

  • If you'd like. There are so many ways this can be done. But I still use the cap in some cases like if my clients hair is long, they are natural or have a tone of new growth because the cap helps keep the hair flat and gives a smooth surface to work with. Then I apply the GPS over the cap :)

  • Thanks and God bless you babe

  • I'm a little confused, what makes this style glue less? Another thing is i'll be taking my hair down from mircos and i'm unsure on how to mold my hair. I don't think my hair would lay down well because I haven't had a perm in a while.

  • Watch the FAQ video about why it's called Glue-Free. Your mold depends mostly on the style you'll be doing. Is your hair long enough to cornrow? What about a ponytail mold?

  • My hair is long enough to cornrow. But I want to give my hair a rest from the braids in general thats what made me so interested in the quick weave. And i'm sure my hair is long enough for the ponytail.

  • GiRL Y0U ARE B0MB! i W0ULD L0VE FOR Y0U T0 D0 MY HAiR!

  • Lol, thanks. That means a lot sweetie

  • Great now I knw how to make a "part" w/o going around my head and hvg it in my eyes

  • Exactly!

  • her stocking cap is fitting snuggly, did you buy it that size,b/c it does not look like it was trimmed, thanks for the info

  • Hmmmmmm, I don't remember love. I'm sorry.

  • Smile, baby.

  • :), there you go, lol.

  • I was referring to your client. LoL!!

  • lol.

  • what is the name of the product you mentioned instead of spritzing the tracks after glueing

  • Dunoo, can you link me to the point in the video where I said it?

  • so since you put the Glue Free Quick Weave™ it doesnt damage her hair when you start glueing the hair on?

  • Correct!

  • youve lost some weight

  • lol, THANK YOU!!!!! I still have a little baby fat left to rid myself of.

  • I said it before and I'll say it again, "This style is hott!!"

  • Thank you love!

  • what stocking cap is best to use for glueing weave tracks on? I tried it before and found that it didn't adhere well enough, the one you're using on your model looks more thick, where can I get that from? I was looking to purchase online. Thanks for your help!

  • Hmmm, I forgot where to be honest. Maybe try spritzing the cap first before you adhere the wefts.

    HTH

  • thanks!
