I totally agree. Now they run the opening credits during the program and whatelse gets me is that they don't run the credits at the end. They split the screen with ads.
@Juliaflo I agree. Now instead of great theme songs we get more stupid commercials. On top of that we have to pay a fortune for cable TV instead of a free antenna. Like everything else we're getting less and less for more and more.
Whenever I saw Stuart Whitman guest starring on some TV show, all I could think of was Cimarron Strip. Especially the way he pronounced Dulcey's name.

Greatest tv theme besides Hawaii Five-O. Also the opening helicopter shot is spectacular.
