Helen Slater is a very humble and a very fine lady and I respect her a lot, I am a big fan of her and for me she will always be the only actress who fits well in the role of supergirl.

I just re-thought of her as I got the 2006 re-issue of Supergirl, and I also re-watched The Legend of Billie Jean on cable days ago, and I was so over joyed and emotional I almost cried. It's a damn fine film that holds up.

Sadly we'll never see a DVD for quite some time, as the master print supposedly mysteriously burned in a Paramount studios vault fire, but there should be 35mm copies SOME WHERE, so I wouldn't cry just yet.

Helen is also a fine musician. I have her CDs as well ...

I have the whole film on DVD along with the deleted scenes, in that they also have the making of the film and the film along with the commentary by the director and some other guy.

I willing to post it all here on youtube but i just don't know how to upload DVD files.

If some one could help me out here, i'll post the whole film separately, the film with the commentary separately and the making also, ofcourse all will be in parts.

Abbysam, ar you talkin' about the bootleg of The Legend of Billie Jean taken form the Paramount-HD channel showings over the last two years, or Supergirl ? Because Supergirl is still in print. I own the 2006 disc re-issued to coincide for the Superman Returns theatrcial release.

I would love to get a hold on TLOBJ one day this year. May I ask how did you get a commentary track and deleted scenes, if that is what you are talkin' about? I am intrigued ...

I am talking about "supergirl"....oh by the way i am not from the US, i am from pakistan.

I got this dvd of supergirl, and it had everything, the making, the commentary in which they show the whole film again along with the director explaining how each scene was done and then ofcourse the dvd has the film itself. It is the international version in which lots of scenes that were not shown locally in the US are included. This editing led to the film's failure.

Oh okay. Well we have that in our region zone (DVD Region-1 zone), we also have several editions. I have the latest which is like that as well.

I feel the editing, and the sometimes convulted and confusing storyline, lead to the failure of the film. But I still feel it's very fun and a real enjoyable romp in many ways. Thanks for the reply my friend ...
