This doesn't really advertise Microsoft Office that much as it's like a TV show advertising pretending to work, which is more funnier than the fact that this is supposed to be a Microsoft Office commercial.

There is nothing Microsoft Office can do that NeoOffice can't do, NeoOffice or OpenOffice, whichever, they both can do this. People should give it more of a chance, just because it's OpenSource doesn't mean that it's krud, I mean look at it.

command-click and rename it as nothing and then command-click and click edit* the folder- then choose a colour of folder and/or an image that you wan embossed on the folder.

*I think it sais edit but I'm on my iPhone so can't check right now. Hope it helps though

Macs are upgradable.. my macbook back in 2006 came with 512MB of ram... running OS 10.4... now i have the same macbook with 2GB of ram... (the instructions for replacing the ram and hard disk are below the battery,,)

and i'm running the latest release OS 10.6.2... which by the way costs $29... And i'm running it just fine... it runs like it's a new pc... Just so you know... I am a windows user... i can dual boot... between win7 and osx...

I used Windows for 11 years up to XP Pro. Utter junk. Poor memory management. Persistent crashing. System freezes. I have been using OSX concurrently and since I gave up Windows. It's like a dream OS. Fast, no crashing. And Linux is good too. Don't go for Windows. It's an OS for receptionists and secretries. Pure crap.

or you could buy a mac that you can never upgrade. So when that turns out to be trash (because they have just announced a new mac by the time you turn it on) you have to spend way to much on another one. Macs are PCs. Mac is just a brand like HP or Dell. Don't buy a Mac, buy a computer which is upgradable and runs the greatest OS: Windows.

And the best thing is, once you have a mac, you can keep it for a long while and just keep updating it (speed won't drop), and it will still be good to use, while you will need to buy a new PC or parts at least once every 6 moths to keep up with the latest technology.

PS. If you want to say that Macs last longer, I'll point out that my Compaq SP700 workstation from 1999 is still running today with XP installed on it.

1: how do regular people like the design?

2: how secure is the system WITHOUT any antivirus programs?

3: How easy is it to use (this should actually be tested on regular ppl, who never used a comp. before, since windows sponsors every school to teach the children windows' basics.)

btw: a PC is a personal computer, so macs are PC's to ;)

1. Obviously since Apple's market share is so small, I'd say people dont like the design enough to spend the extra money.

2. Moot point since antivirus is free. Even microsoft has a free AV and it works very well....but to answer your question, its quite secure. I've been running no AV since 2003.

3. I dont know of any sponsorships like what you speak of and windows is no harder to use. At least from my conversation to mac users who have both machines. They say its not much harder to learn

Every OS has it's down sides I have tried Linux Windows and Mac OS X. Mac OS X works best for me. So I stick to it.

no macs are for people who dont know how to save money and use computers cuz windows can do everything a mac can...and i can build a customized windows pc for around $1000 from the ground up with a quad core 2.8 Ghz and it has better specs than the 2500 mac pro...and xp runs without a problem..CUZ I ACTUALLY KNOW HOW TO USE A COMPUTER...and windows has more software and game compatibility than mac which is why mac users run windows on their macs...we get a kik ass comp. for around a 1000 less
